Yuki sighed sitting back on the couch with a soft sigh, as Soul was in the kitchen. Blair jumped up on the couch next to Yuki.
“So Lord Death told you not to go to school tomorrow right?” Blair asked, making Yuki nod and move her hands over her face. “I would stay with you too, but I have work tomorrow… sorry.” Blair said but Yuki only shook her head.
“Don’t worry about it, I’ll be fine alone, I can finish that art project.” Yuki said about to get up but Soul walked in, and Yuki flinched sitting back down when Soul looked at her. Soul walked over sitting next to her then handed her a cup of tea that he had made.
“You need to sleep first.” Soul said sitting next to her but Yuki put the tea down on the table.
“No because if I fall asleep now then my sleep schedule will be messed up.” Yuki said crossing her arms but Soul sighed wrapping his arm around her shoulder and pulling her closer so her head was against his chest as they sat on the couch.
“Well, too bad. It’s already messed up and besides you don’t have school tomorrow because of you losing it in class.” Soul said making Yuki look at the tea. “Yuki what happened? Did madness-” Soul started but Yuki leaned forward grabbing the tea and drinking some of it.
“I don’t want to answer that question… ask something else.” Yuki said drinking some then putting it back down.
“Okay, what did you feel when we were heading towards the Keshin underground? And what can’t Kid know?” Soul asked but Yuki softly sighed looking down.
“Madness wavelength mostly, but, I saw glimpses of his Soul even after being devoured by darkness. I can’t feel it now but, that soul, well, He is a part of Lord Death’s soul, Lord Death’s Son, like Kid. I saw it all when I looked at his soul. Kid and Asura were made from Lord Death’s soul. Kid is Order I believe, and I think Asura or the Keshin is fear. I can’t let Kid know that his brother is the keshin. Not only should Lord Death be the one to tell him but… for him to know he’s related to the Keshin could hurt him.” Yuki said but Soul’s eyes were just wide. “That hitting me, just made me freeze back then… but I knew I needed to keep going. I also felt when the Keshin was revived and I felt the feeling of Madness stronger but I pushed it away and went after him. I knew if I didn’t stop him I would pass out, and I did” Yuki said looking down at the coffee table in front of them, she leaned forward away from Soul’s arm, but they were still sitting side by side. “I also lost myself to madness in class, Lord Death wanted me to stay home tomorrow so I didn’t beat someone senseless again because of what they said, and for me to calm down a bit.” Yuki said with a small yawn because of the tea.
“Well that’s unfair since it wasn’t your fault.” Soul said sitting back his arms on the couch to each side of him, Yuki leaned back her shoulders hitting Soul’s arm lightly. Soul wrapped his arm around her shoulders.
“You… that tea made me tired… what did you do to it?” Yuki asked Soul but he only sighed.
“I put something in it to make you more tired. It’s sleep tea.” Soul said making Yuki groan and try to get up but she was so tired from the tea and not getting any sleep she couldn’t sit up on her own.
“You suck…” Yuki muttered making Soul chuckle but she let her head rest against his shoulder and she found herself passing out.
“Yup.” Soul said, and when Yuki passed out Soul just slowly picked her up and carried her into his room laying her down on his bed, before going to his desk and working on school work he didn’t want to do. After about an hour of Soul doing his work he sighed leaning back in his chair.
“I still want to kill you.” Yuki mumbled pushing herself up off his bed, slightly shaky since she was still pretty tired.
“Huh, shouldn’t you sleep for longer?” Soul asked but Yuki pushed herself up fully and put her feet on the ground standing now.
“No, not only do I have to cook dinner tonight since it’s my night but no matter how tired I am, I really will mess up my sleep schedule if I sleep for longer.” Yuki said walking into the kitchen, Soul followed her.
“You cook even when it’s not your night, what hate my cooking?” Soul asked as he followed her in, but Yuki turned him and quickly shook her head.
“No, never, I just cook because… I don’t know I don’t want you to waste your time on it?” Yuki said more like a question then she grabbed food out of the fridge and started to chop things up making a salad then she turned on a burner and put chopped up steak in it. “How is salad with some chopped up steak?” Yuki asked cooking the steak. Soul only nodded and Yuki finished the steak putting it in some tinfoil and on the counter next to the bowl of salad with stuff in it. “You can add as much as you want.” Yuki said putting dressing on the salad then tossing it. Soul grabbed a plate, and Blair turned into her human form also grabbing a plate.
“This looks yummy.” Blair said with a smile making Yuki also smile and she grabbed a plate letting Soul and Blair grab some before she did, they all sat down on the couches eating, Blair finishing the quickest stretched her arms out. “That was delicious! I’m going to go take a bath, you two have fun.” Blair said winking at Yuki and Soul making Yuki blush bright red but Blair got up putting her plate in the sink before heading back to take a bath. Yuki sat back on the couch blinking tiredly, trying to keep her eyes open.
“Hey, just get some sleep now, it’s almost about when we pass out anyways.” Soul said looking at the time and seeing it was 9, they usually passed out from anywhere between 10 and 11.
“No…” Yuki said half pouting and then she sighed closing her eyes while resting her head back. Yuki softly yawned once more. “I’m not tired anymore.” Yuki said but then she started to fall to the side, her head falling onto Soul’s shoulder.
“Uncool to lie.” Soul said but Yuki just glared at him slightly opening her eyes.
“Uncool to be like that.” Yuki said then closed her eyes. “It’s weird, I keep forgetting my hair is blue now.” Yuki said but Soul just moved the hair that was in front of her face, behind her ear making Yuki slowly look up at him.
“I don’t care either way because you are still you.” Soul said then he sighed. “God that sounded stupid.” Soul said but Yuki sat up and she kissed his cheek making Soul’s face tint slightly pink but Yuki smiled with a soft giggle.
“You are stupid, but aren’t we all?” Yuki asked then unwrapped her arms from around his neck her head falling onto his shoulder once more. “Thank you.” Yuki said and Soul looked at her.
“Yeah, you are welcome.” Soul said then stretched out his back tiredly and Yuki’s head fell onto Soul’s lap. Soul looked at her confused but he saw she was asleep and only chuckled. "God you are dumb, but...." Soul started then he rested back against the couch. "I like you anyways." Soul muttered watching TV. (THEY HAVE A TV NOW IF THEY DIDN'T BEFORE OKAY!! D: LEAVE ME ALOOOONE)
