Chapter 36.

Yuki sighed sitting in her seat in class, kinda dozing off as she sat, the night before Yuki had been staying up all night to finish an art project she had been doing, and ended up not finishing it, but also not getting any sleep at all. Yuki was trying her best to stay awake but Soul just sighed. Soul had went to sleep, but check on her a few times before deciding that she would just go to sleep around the middle of the night, but when he had woke up for school, she had been still working not even knowing what time it was. Yuki had to hurry to get ready for school then the two headed to school, Yuki slowly walking the whole time and almost falling over multiple times. Now, Stein was talking about resonating Souls, something their group hadn’t been able to do unless it was just with Kid and Yuki, since she had taken over at that point and basically did it herself. Soul looked down at Yuki who was laying her head on her desk.

“Maka, Izaya, Oxford, Harvar, and Blackstar will you please all come down here.” Stein said, the 5 of them got up and Yuki looked up from her desk. “I would like you 5 to connect Souls, Blackstar won’t be using Tsubaki for this but Weapons go into weapon form.” Stein said, Izaya and Harvar turned into their weapon forms then the three meisters tried to connect Souls but it horribly failed. Stein sighed sitting in his chair but Yuki was looking at him worriedly, worried about his madness.

“Professor Stein?” Cruel asked standing up. Stein looked over at her.

“Yes Cruel?” Stein asked but Cruel and Reaper stood up.

“I think we could connect Soul’s with someone.” Reaper said making Yuki groan in annoyance, Yuki hadn’t talked to neither of them since the night the keshin was in Death City.

“Okay, pick two meisters and their weapons.” Stein said, sounding not really interested but Reaper and Cruel walked to the front of Class.

“Yuki and Soul.” Reaper said making Yuki look up from her spot.

“Huh?” She asked but Soul slightly nudged her, and Yuki sighed getting up with an annoyed groan. Her and Soul walked to the front of class down with Reaper and Cruel.

“Then, Kid, Liz, and Patty.” Cruel said making a few people in the class’s eyes widen. Kid got up, the sisters following after him and they walked to the front of class.

“We made it easy for you… you’ve connected to our soul’s wavelength for both of us, now you just need to do both of us. The only way we can do this is if you take over.” Reaper whispered to Yuki making her eyes widen.

“Wait, that could go bad… I’m not really in the state of holding back since I’m tired.” Yuki muttered but Reaper had already went to his spot. Kid nodded since he had heard us.

“Okay, Weapons in weapon form.” Stein said, Soul turned into his scythe form, Cruel turned into her battle axe form, and the two sisters turned into their twin pistols. Yuki took a deep breath holding Soul then she spun him around once before sticking his handle in the ground.

“Ready.” Yuki whispered closing her eyes, the two nodded and Yuki’s soul slowly started to show around her, shaking as if it was trying to get bigger but it stopped at what the normal size soul of a one star student would look like. Two Soul wavelength tentacles came out of her soul, as Reaper’s and Kid’s showed up.

“Careful.” Soul said in his weapon form, seeing her soul, while the weapons of the classroom couldn’t really, but Cruel, Liz, and Patty could since they were the ones resonating.

“I am.” Yuki said and her soul connected with Reaper’s and Kid’s. The bond showing but then Yuki’s soul started to shake more and grow a bit more, but before it could grow anymore the bond broke, Yuki breaking it in fear she would hurt the others. Yuki fell onto her knees but Stein was looking at them.
“Good.” Stein said, Soul turned into his human form standing next to Yuki, but Yuki slowly started to get up yawning softly.
