Chapter 20.

Yuki started to wake up as they got closer to their destination. “Thanks Soul.” Yuki said and Soul only nodded but as they got close Yuki’s eyes widen and she let go of Soul and looked around confused. “Kid! Watch out!” Yuki yelled up to Kid, Kid nodded since he had already felt the presence, of something coming their way.

“What is it?” Soul asked but Yuki grabbed his shoulder then she started to get up putting her feet under her on the bike. “Hey! What are you doing?” Soul asked in shock.

“Keep it going steady, and don’t hit the breaks. If you turn, yell it.” Yuki said her bracers appearing at her wrists and she aimed them ahead of them. “Kid!” Yuki yelled up to him then her eyes widened seeing a whole bunch of flying things flying towards them. As they got closer she gasped.

“They’re Hornets!” Patty yelled from in her Weapon form. Yuki’s eyes widened and she looked at Soul.

“Stop the bike.” Yuki said making Soul’s eyes widen and he looked up at her as she stood on the bike.

“What?” Soul asked looking at her then ahead of them at the hornets. “Why-” Soul started to ask but Yuki looked back at the hornets.

“Stop the bike!” Yuki said and Soul slammed on the brakes making Yuki let out a shocked scream and she fell down grabbing onto him so she didn’t fall off. Soul’s bike skidded to a stop in the sand and then he put his feet down.

“What is it?” He asked looking back at her as she held onto him. Kid stopped where he was in the air and flew down towards them.

“Put the kickstand down.” Yuki said making Soul look at her confused as the Hornets got closer. “Soul please! Just do it!” Yuki yelled at him making Soul put the kickstand down then Yuki jumped off the bike and she ran closer towards the Hornets looking up at them. “Kid that’s where we are going isn’t it?” Yuki asked pointing up, Soul looked up and his eyes widened slightly.

“What the hell is that!?” Soul yelled looking up at the floating castle as the Hornets started to get closer and you could hear them now.

“Yeah. It is.” Kid said and Yuki nodded then grabbed Soul’s hand. “What’s our game plan?” Kid asked but Yuki looked at Soul.

“You trust me right?” Yuki asked as Soul was about to argue. Soul groaned in annoyance but he nodded turning into his scythe form and Yuki jumped on the back of Kid’s skateboard making Kid’s eyes widened. “I know this thing can carry us both if our partners are in weapon form.” Yuki said making Kid look back at her in slight shock on how she thought so quickly but then he nodded flying up. Yuki grabbed onto him with one arm around his stomach in shock because of how fast the skateboard moved and how jerky it was.

“Hold on.” Kid said then the Skateboard started to fly up in the air, Yuki grabbed onto him tightly and the Hornets started to follow them. Kid turned his arms firing back as they flew after them and they flew towards the castle in the sky. Yuki looked back at the hornets and she brought out her bracers aiming as they got close and launching the knifes from the bracers into the hornets, her eyes widened as one came close and she swung Soul around hitting it. “Watch out!” Kid yelled since Yuki had let go of him but a Hornet ran into the front of the skateboard making it start to spin. Kid stayed on but Yuki started to slip.

“Yuki!” Soul yelled and in Yuki’s grip Soul turned his blade and caught it on Kid’s Skateboard so they didn’t fall. Yuki’s eyes widened and she looked up at him. “Hold on.” Soul said about to turn into his human form.

“Soul don’t! You’ll bring the skateboard down if you turn human.” Yuki said making Soul flinch but Kid looked down at them.

“Hold on Yuki.” Kid said about to stop but Hornets flew in the way. “Stupid unsymmetrical bastards!!!!” Kid yelled shooting Liz and Patty off like crazy making Patty laugh but Yuki looked up at Soul and Kid as Kid started to turn the skateboard. Yuki looked down and her eyes widened seeing how far up they were.
