Soul sighed sitting on the ground from where Yuki had gotten up yet. Professor Stein looked down at him then looked back at where Yuki had run off too. Liz and Patty sighed but they walked after Yuki decided also to head to the bathrooms.
“She’s stubborn, isn’t she?” Professor Stein asked Kid and Soul since they were the only ones there, Liz and Patty had just left to follow Yuki. “It’s a bit amusing that she actually listens to someone.” Professor Stein said looking down at Soul now making Soul flinch then he looked away once more. “Even when she listened to me, she still went behind my back. She did the same thing with Izaya, especially when they were fighting they would always end up getting in their own fights till Izaya decided to just be quiet while they were fighting.” Professor Stein said making Soul’s eyes widened. “Maybe she didn’t trust his judgement.” Professor Stein added once more and Soul just watched where Yuki left at.
“But she listens to Soul.” Kid said making Professor Stein look back at Kid then he nodded. “And she listens to us-” Kid started but Stein put his hands in his lab coat.
“Does she really? While she might listen to you out of fighting, like when you tell her you guys are going on a mission or something else, she might listen then because she either has no opinion or she feels like she’ll be bossy if she says anything but, when it comes to fighting she doesn’t like listening. You guys were fighting the Sand Golem and she protected you guys, she didn’t listen to how you should do it. All your other missions, Izaya told her to do something and she did the opposite. She doesn’t trust others well, and she’d rather put herself in harms way then let someone else, it might have something to do with her memory being gone, so she cares more about others because she knows more about their pasts then her own and she knows that they have people that care about them. She remembers more now obviously but before she thought no one cared about her, because she never even used to care about herself really.” Stein said then pulled out a cigarette and he lit it. “I cared, I’m not the best at showing it though. This school has changed her attitude back more towards her old one.” Stein said talking about before she had lost her memory then he turned and walked away from them and towards the school. Soul and Kid watched him go before looking at each other.
“He did mention on the first day that she didn’t listen to him and came to school anyways.” Kid muttered his hands in his pockets. Soul groan getting up shoving his hands also in his pockets and he stood next to Kid.
“How Uncool.” Soul said then he sighed. “She listens to me, I’ve told her what to do while fighting multiple times, I mean she doesn’t listen to me completely but we work together.” Soul said but then he groaned once more. “Why does this have to be such a pain in the ass. All of this.” Soul said angrily but Kid next to him chuckled.
“Remember the first day I met you and Blackstar? You two tried to fight me and Blackstar couldn’t even pick you up?” Kid said looking ahead of him and towards the school his hands in his pockets. “That was a pain in the ass. There are tensions in the group and while we need to get this done, the tensions are rising.” Kid added as Liz and Patty walked back on their own. “Between Izaya and Yuki, Then between Blackstar and Maka, and also, Yuki and Blackstar.” Kid said making Soul flinch but then Liz and Patty walked up.
“We don’t know where she went, we went to all of the bathrooms looking for her but she disappeared.” Liz said with a sigh her arms crossed in front of her.
“She disappeared~!” Patty yelled sticking her hands up in the air then she giggled but as she said it they looked over and saw Yuki walking towards them with her hood on and her hair covered her face.
“Hey, we found you! Yuki!” Liz called over to her but Yuki didn’t look up. “Yuki?” Liz asked again but Yuki kept walking making them all flinch but Soul grabbed Yuki’s arm stopping her.
