Chapter 40.

“Blackstar-Nii?” Yuki asked making Blackstar’s eyes widen even more than the others since she had repeated it. “Blackstar-Nii!!” Yuki yelled once more and she ran forward forgetting the pain she felt all over and she hugged him almost knocking him over but Blackstar just had his arms out in shock. Blackstar stood frozen for a second but then he hugged back resting his head against her shoulder tightly, still confused on what happened a bit, but at the same time he knew she had remembered. She had finally remembered. Yuki stepped back looking at him, her eyes shining bright, like she hadn’t just gotten stabbed and almost died, as if she was in a candy shop as a child and got to pick out whatever she wanted.

“Jeez you look different from back then!” Yuki said making the others gasp in realization. “I am soooo sorry that I got sick and forgot everything I didn’t know that the witch could do that, and I thought I was dead, but I couldn’t let Sid die since he was in trouble too!” Yuki said like she was reminiscing on what had happened. “Yeah, I shouldn’t have even went with him, I knew I should have stayed behind and just went to the park-” Yuki cut off then she whirled around on her heels looked at Soul tears coming to her eyes once more. “BEANIE!” She screamed and tackled him making Soul let out a sound of shock as he got tackled down and Yuki hugged him pressing her head to his chest.

“I’m sorry I didn’t show up! I mean you know why now but just remembering everything.” Yuki started then she grabbed him tighter making Soul flinch at how strong she was. “I’m sorry I forgot everything. I really am so sorry and now that I remember I feel even worse than before.” Yuki said hugging him tightly but then she lifted her head in shock, her attention span once again changing from one thing to another. “Wait, should I be called Snowstar or Yuki now? I mean-” Yuki cut off as Soul wrapped his arms around her shoulders and he pulled her down so she was laying back on his chest and he hugged her tightly. Yuki’s eyes widened but then she wrapped her arms around him tightly as they laid on the ground.

“S-So you remember?” Maka asked slight tears in her eyes, Yuki lifted her head off of Soul’s chest once more and she nodded.

“A huh!” Yuki said with a smile then she pushed herself up and she ran forward hugging Maka making Maka’s eyes widen at Yuki’s speed. “I’m sorry I didn’t remember you too, I just feel like I ditched all of you… I really am sorry.” Yuki said shaking slightly as she hugged Maka. Maka’s eyes widen then tears slowly came to them and she hugged Yuki back.

“Well I’m happy she finally remembers.” Izaya said with a short laugh but Yuki looked at him then she turned to him and hit him on the side of the head lightly. “Ow what was that-” Izaya started but Yuki put her hands on her hips.

“That was for all the shit you did while I was quiet and didn’t say much or really react. Learn to keep your mouth shut in situations that could get you hurt or killed.” Yuki said making Izaya flinch grabbing his head in pain with a slight pout on his face. Yuki smiled then she turned to Tsubaki and she ran forward hugging her making Tsubaki’s eyes widen in shock.

“W-Why are you hugging me?” Tsubaki asked shocked but Yuki let go of her then backed up looking up at her.

“For taking care of my brother for so long.” Yuki said with a smile but she turned to Kid, Liz, and Patty then she ran over to them tackling them all down to the ground with a hug. Kid was shocked but Patty was laughing and Liz sighed.

“And this is for?” Kid started but Yuki sat up getting off of them.
“I just felt like hugging you.” Yuki said with a smile then she got up and touched her stomach in pain. “Wow, this actually kind of hurts.” Yuki said but she looked up at the spikes above the DWMA. Yuki ran towards the wall and she grabbed onto it climbing up the walls of the academy like a spider monkey.
