Soul Eater, Who is she really?

Chapter 4.

The others sat outside of the infirmary while Yuki and Stein were inside, Maka was pacing back and forth, Soul was sitting on the ground, Blackstar was doing finger pushups, Tsubaki was watching him but then looking at the infirmary door every few seconds, Kid, Liz, and Patty had went to go see Lord Death to tell him what happened, and Izaya was laying on the ground looking at the roof of the school his hands behind his head as a pillow. The door opened and they all looked over as Stein walked out closing the door behind himself.

“She’s lucky, she didn’t need stitches on her stomach and even if she did, we couldn’t because of the gash, but her side needed them. She refused, because she hates stitches, so I glued the wound closed and bandaged her.” Stein said making the others flinch making Maka think, Yuki hated stitches yet she lived with Stein?

“Can we see her?” Izaya asked pushing himself up. Stein opened his mouth about to say no but Yuki opened the door from behind him.

“Yeah, you can. Stein, don’t you dare say no.” Yuki said leaving the door open behind her and she walked back into the room. The others were shocked to see her up but Izaya just walked into the room after her.

“She’s on painkillers and I don’t know how she’s up.” Nygus said shocked sitting in her chair. “The medicine is supposed to knock someone out and make them numb all over.” Nygus added but Yuki just walked over to her bag reaching down lifting one of her legs into the air so she didn’t have to bend down.

“Medicine doesn’t work well on me.” Yuki said then she walked over to Izaya. “Here.” Yuki said tossing him her bag. “I took my clothes out of there since I needed to change.” Yuki said and Izaya opened the bag, seeing the three keshin souls he ate them but Yuki stretched.

“How are you up right now? Shouldn’t you be resting?!” Maka asked shocked but Yuki turned her head to look at her.

“Yeah.. about that. I’m fine. Listen. Why didn’t you guys just go on the mission?” Yuki asked confused but Blackstar sighed throwing his hands behind his head.

“Because we said you were coming. Guess it’s postponed till tomorrow, since not only it’s late but you’re hurt.” Blackstar said his hands behind his head, Yuki looked at him for a second then she shook her head.

“Nah, I’m fine, but I-” Yuki started about to say how she shouldn’t come and how they don’t have to like her but Soul put his hand out.

“Save it. You are coming on the mission.” Soul said then he turned around. “If we are going tonight, tell me, if not Maka I’ll be waiting by the front of the school.” Soul said walking out of the infirmary and towards the front of the school. Yuki watched him go then she softly sighed grabbing her covered shoulder.

“Hey, Yuki, I have a question. Why is your shoulder covered? In both of your outfits you have a sleeve covering your shoulder only on that side.” Tsubaki asked making Yuki flinch her eyes widening as she looked down.

“I… I don’t know.” Yuki admitted grabbing her shoulder tightly with her hand. “I can’t-” Yuki started to talk more but Stein cut her off.

“She has that arm bandaged on her shoulder and has since she was little. Don’t. Ask.” Stein said making everyone in the room flinch at how serious he sounded. Yuki didn’t look at him she just had been grabbing her shoulder looking the other way.

“Wait, what? But if it’s her shoulder shouldn’t she be the judge of it? It sounds like you won’t let her look.” Blackstar said glaring at professor Stein. Izaya looked at Blackstar and he nodded in agreement with his Meister friend.
“I said something like that when I found out she didn’t even know.” Izaya said in agreement but Maka and Tsubaki were both just confused.
