Soul Eater, Who is she really?

Chapter 7.

Yuki sat in the sand outside of Death City hugging her knees as the wind whipped around her blowing her hair every which way but Yuki didn’t even seem to notice as she sat there hiding her head against her knees.

“Hey, did you catch up to her?” Izaya asked running up to Blackstar, Maka had turned Soul into a Scythe so they could catch up easily, and Kid did the same with Liz and Patty, turning them into their gun forms but Tsubaki just stood by Blackstar.

“No, she jumped off a roof and I didn’t see where she went because, when I got to the end of the roof I only saw people panicking. What the hell got into her?” Blackstar asked with a groan then he walked over to the building they had been on and he pointed up to it.

“S-She jumped off of that roof!?” Maka asked her eyes wide then she looked around. “Well wouldn’t there be like a dent in the ground? She must’ve hurt herself!” Maka said looking around but Kid sighed from where he stood.

“No, for her to jump off a roof like that without hesitation she must’ve known she could land without hurting herself.” Kid said and the others looked at Izaya for confirmation making Izaya look at all of them then up at the roof.

“Well, she’s jumped from buildings shorter than that… and she’s also jumped from a building taller than that, but she landed on another roof and the jump wasn’t as big. I mean, when Yuki wants to get away from somewhere and she’s scared, she’ll get away. I just don’t know what scared her, she won’t tell me anything.” Izaya mumbled looking down tightening his hand in a fist. “We are growing apart.” Izaya added looking away from the others making them all flinch but looking up at the roof he backed up from it pointing up at it. “If she jumped, she would’ve landed about here, and ran down this alley.” Izaya said pointing to the ground then down the alley way.

“Wait, something scared her? But before she left she was talking to Professor Stein because he wanted to see her.” Maka said making the others all look at her.
“What?” Blackstar asked but then he looked towards the alleyway and towards the edge of town. “She left Death City.” Blackstar then then he took off running again.

“Wait Blackstar!” Tsubaki yelled running after him but Soul turned into his human form shocking Maka.

“Maka, Professor Stein must know what’s wrong. You and Izaya go see what’s wrong. I’ll go with the others and make sure she’s alright.” Soul said running after Tsubaki and Blackstar before they could argue.

“Wait! She’s my partner!” Izaya yelled angrily but then he flinched watching Soul go for a second. “Kid, make sure they are all okay.” Izaya said grabbing Maka’s hand and pulling her back towards DWMA.

“H-Hey!” Maka said in shock but looking up at Izaya’s serious face she just ran after him keeping up with ease. “Do you think Professor Stein said something to her then?” Maka asked Izaya and Izaya only nodded as they ran towards the school.

Outside of town Blackstar ran out into the sand and he looked around for her, Tsubaki caught up to him followed by Soul, then Kid showed up last holding his twin pistols, Liz and Patty, in his hands.

“Yuki!” Tsubaki yelled out cupping her hands over her mouth to call out for her. “Where are you!” Tsubaki added but the wind started to pick up.

“Don’t tell me there is going to be a sandstorm soon.” Kid muttered looking at the sand as it blew towards them. Everyone shielded their eyes with their arms as more sand and wind blew in their faces.

“She’s probably hiding somewhere in a dune or something.” Liz said with a shrug but the others could not see it since she was still in her weapon form.
