Chapter 3.

Yuki walked out of Lord Death’s office, he had told her she couldn’t go on missions alone without another meister and weapon as her punishment, which Yuki didn’t like doing because she didn’t really like other people, or ‘Play’ well with others.

“Hey, Yuki!” Izaya said running over to her making Yuki look up at him confused. “Did you get in trouble? Professor Stein said that we couldn’t go on missions alone because of Lord Death.” Izaya said making Yuki nod looking down. “That guy derserved it… don’t feel bad. They were jerks.” Izaya said, but Yuki didn’t look up at him. “Hey, come on, we all were going to go on a mission together. You will have fun, I promise. Once you get more used to them they are really fun people, and they won’t judge you Yuki.” Izaya said but Yuki didn’t talk as she looked down making Izaya sigh but he grabbed her wrist and pulled her towards the mission board where the others were.

“Hey Izaya, oh you found Yuki?” Maka said making everyone else look over also as Izaya walked up with a smile, pulling Yuki behind him.

“Yeah, she went quiet though. She probably won’t talk for a bit, she gets like this sometimes but she’s fine.” Izaya said only making Yuki flinch as she looked down.

“Oh… Okay, well Yuki if you wanna talk I’ll listen.” Maka said to Yuki with a smile on her face making Yuki slowly nod while she looked down at the ground.

“Why is she being quiet anyways?” Blackstar asked making everyone glare at him because he asked. “What? I wanna know, so what she punched a dude in the face that deserved it.” Blackstar said making Yuki softly sigh.

“Because she doesn’t punch people on a regular basis like you Blackstar. Well, probably at least.” Soul said with a shrug looking at his friend. Blackstar only laughed slightly as Kid walked up with Liz and Patty.

“My Dad told me that you weren’t allowed to go on missions alone, that’s all. I mean, you could have been expelled.” Kid said as he walked up making Yuki flinch. “But, I had told him the situation and he’s talking to the other kid now.” Kid added but Yuki only shook her head looking at the ground.

“Guys, come on let’s just pick out a mission for all of us.” Izaya said trying to change the subject off of this because he could tell Yuki was getting uncomfortable.

“Wait, do you punch people often?” Patty asked her eyes widened as she asked, she was sincerely curious as they all looked at Yuki.

“Patty, she probably doesn’t I mean does she look like the type of person who just punches everyone? She isn’t Blackstar.” Liz said with a sigh making Patty look at Yuki closer then she backed up putting her arms behind her back.

“Oh! Yeah you are right.” Patty said with a smile then she looked at the mission board gasping every time she saw a drawing of something.

“Hey! Why do you keep using me as an example…” Blackstar muttered looking down using his shirt to cover his mouth a bit as he sulked slightly.

“Guys, come on. Mission.” Izaya said once again trying to change the subject. The others all nodded looking at the missions. “By the way she doesn’t punch people often. Even when fighting she doesn’t like punching anyone or kicking them. She just fights with me and doesn’t get too close.” Izaya said but Yuki kept looking down now as everyone else looked at the missions. Yuki slowly lifted her head and she looked up at the others.

“I don’t punch much or kick anyone because I end up hurting them. I may not look it but I’m sorta strong.” Yuki said making the others look at her once more but then Yuki turned her head to look away, her purple hair covering her face. “It’s in my genes and I’m not good at holding back. Even if it’s the enemy I feel bad after.” Yuki said crossing her arms as she looked away. Blackstar broke out laughing.
