We met at a public place and he led me to his car afterwards.

'Let me see your face.'

I look up to meet his eyes.. well chin.
Without any warning he just slaps me in the face.

'That's for taking the microphone with you,' he whispers.
'Levi you need to understand that I.. needed to take one,' I say to defend myself and rub my cheek.
'No Calum, they wanted you to take it with you. You could've said no.'

I sigh and turn my face away from him looking out the window as we drive to.. I don't know where.

'Aren't you afraid I'll leak the location?' I question.
He shrugs. 'I will kick your ass.'
'Fair enough,' I mumble.
'I expected you to defend yourself.'
'I'm just tired today.'
'At this rate you'll be exhausted by the time you leave.'

'So why did you want just me to show up?'
'It's the most logical thing, you're the only one I kind of know.. I know you wouldn't struggle to much,' he pauses for a second, 'Besides I knew you would be the donor.'

'How?'
'I knew your blood type matches.'
'Do you know literally every single detail about me?' I ask a bit annoyed.
'There's a lot of information to be found.. all we did was research.'
I sigh loudly as response.

'Sweetheart, your father literally owns an important company, the company that has been tracing every move I make for years. There's enough to find out about his son.'
'That doesn't mean I'm happy with it.'
'There isn't any dirt on you.. in case you want to know.'
'I know.. otherwise you would've used it against me already.'

I look back to him again to see a smirk covering his face.

'You're smirking again.' 'I'm aware.'
'I don't like it.'

'Calum just sleep if you're this tired.'
'But..' 'You can barely keep your eyes open.. take a rest.' 'But..' 'Calum.'

I sigh again and try to keep my eyes open.. which fails.

'

'Come on,' an earthquake wakes me up, 'wake up.'

I rub my eyes as my eyes slowly get used to the light.

'Wait.. are you on top of me?'

He moves away from me in an instant.

'You didn't wake up so it was my last option,' he answers casually.

'You could've thrown water in my face?' 'One that's just mean, two.. the car would be wet.'
'Fair enough,' I mumble as I get out of the car.

I look at my surroundings.

'You really like being in the middle of nowhere do you?' I ask when I see a forest surrounding the place.
'I don't want to be found.'
'Yea.. but in the middle of nowhere is so obvious.. it's literally the first place people look,' I yawn, 'No one is going to look in an office department.'
'You don't know where my places are.. right?' 'No?' 'What's your point then?'

I groan and continue following the boy inside.

'It's quite empty here.'
'Because I'm moving.'
'That's why you didn't care if I saw where we going,' I mumble more to myself than to him. 'Yupp.'

'Did you adhere to the rules of blood donation?' 'Yes.'
'Alright, should've asked you that before we went here to be honest.'

'So donated blood before?'
'I donated bone marrow,' I mumble.
'That's not what I asked.'
'No I haven't donated blood before.'
'Has your blood been tested before?'
'Yes,' I respond tiredly.
'Alright you know what's like, just wanted to know that.'

'But you donated bone marrow.. to your father?' He asks bringing up my answer. 'No.' 'A friend?' 'No.' 'Relative?' 'My mom.'

His eyes widen when he hears my answer.

'Your biological mother?' I nod.
'She abandoned you at birth.' 'I know.'
'You're to good for this world, I wouldn't do something like that to my dad.' 'Your dad?'
'You were abandoned by your mother, I was abandoned by my father. End of story.'

I assume he doesn't like talking about it, but then again.. who would?

'But how did you manage that? Did you fly to Scotland?'
'No, she lives here as well.'
'Wait.. what?' 'After my dad became successful she just.. chased after him,'
I avoid eye contact, 'It's me who she doesn't like.. not my dad.'

'I just don't understand how people are at that point in their life they decide to get children and then just abandon them.'
'My mother wanted a girl, that's literally the only reason. She had that picture so clear in her head and I just ruined it.' My voice is wobbly.
'Are you alright?'
'It's just,' I wipe away a tear that's trying to escape my eyes, 'I did nothing wrong yet she just hates me.'

'Dammit Calum,' he mutters quietly, 'Come here,' he opens his arms and I look at him in complete shock, 'I don't bite, unless you're into that.'
'I can't jus..' 'But you want to.'
'I can't hug my e..' 'You and I both know you need a hug and I'm the only person who can give you one right now.'

I sigh and let my guard down as the arms of the enemy wrap around me.

'She didn't even want to see me while I was recovering, I spend a day in the hospital for her.. I didn't care about the side effects.. I..'
'Shh.. it's alright, she doesn't deserve you.'

'My dad he actually,' he sighs, 'tried to sell me.' 'That's illegal.' 'Yupp.. but he had his ways.. he almost succeeded.'
'Why did he want to do that? And how old were you?' I ask carefully.
'I was eleven and I guess he just.. needed money or something.'
'It must have been more than that.. selling your own child is n..'
'He always hated me. He's a gambler and a drinker. He would come home late at night and wake me up just to yell at me how horrible I was. All behind my mothers back. I told her when I found out what he wanted to do with me and after that he left us.'

'Jee..' 'I don't need your pity, it was years ago. I got over it.'
'It doesn't sound like you did.'
