This place.. it didn't look like a realistic prison at all, it looked like the typical prisons in movies.
They were leading me to the cell I will be in for a week, well I hope not constantly..
When I reach the area where they are located, a lot of prisoners are standing, talking or walking in the space in front of them.
I get basically pushed into the space, told where my "room" is and abandoned after that.
Around three pair of eyes lock onto me while the others don't really seem to care.
My eyes fall onto the smallest group, they're just talking.. but that's not what matters to me, the boy who's leaning against a collum.. that's what matters.
Just now his eyes go towards me, checking me out before focussing on my face. He doesn't really look.. that friendly.
'So new flesh,' I turn around, 'let me tell you how things work here, don't talk to me and when I ask you something you do it okay? Good.'
'No wh..' 'What was that?'I keep my mouth closed.
'Exactly.'
'Come on leave the guy alone.'
'The fact that you're not the newest anymore doesn't mean you can argue with me.' 'You heard them, if you lay a finger on him you'll lose it.'
'They won't.' 'Well do you want to find out? Because I don't.'The buff guy finally separates our ways and I'm left behind with my saviour
'Thanks.' 'Have you done what I asked you to? Otherwise we're not talking.'
'I think I did,' I mumble.
'That would be extremely fast.'
'I can't check if she's really broken since I got taken away right after it.
'Let's go to the cell, it isn't much privacy, but just a bit more.'I walk behind him and let him lead us up to the corner cell.
'I don't understand why they let us share.' 'This place is completely filled.'
My eyes scan the closet sized room.
Two beds, a toilet and a sink, that was it.He sits down one of the beds and I take that as a sign to sit down on the opposite one.
'Explain.'
So I tell him everything that happened.
'I feel horrible.' 'That's part of it.'
'It was the..' 'Calum please, stop.
You'll only feel worse if you keep on repeating it in your head.''Are we good now?'
'First explain why you're here.'
'My dad watched the footage from my visit and as a lesson he locks me up in here.. to show what will happen if I work for you.' 'I told you that the freedom he promised you was a lie.'He stands up and walks over to the door.
'Where are you going?' 'Nowhere, I'm just trying to see if anyone is close by.'
'Why.'He walks back in.
'I'm so proud of you.'
'For breaking a necklace?'
'For doing it this fast, I thought you would hesitate for much longer.'
'I did hesitate, but somehow I just.. did that,' I explain, 'I didn't know how long I was going to be here for at that moment and I just.. knew I had to do something.'A smirk appears on his face as he pulls me up.
'I really didn't think you would do it.'
'You asked me to!'
'Shh.. I know, I'm not mad or anything, I'm just surprised. Like.. I asked you to join me countless of times and you refused, but when I ask you to do something far more horrible than I would ever ask you on my side you do it in.. two.. three days?'
'I don't want to lose you,' I whisper.
'You weren't even sure if I would forgive you.' 'I still don't know.'He snickers, takes my hands and leads me to the wall next to the door.
My hands are pinned to the concrete as he just stares at me.
'I could lose my fingers over this.'
'You shouldn't risk that.'
'No one can see us here,' he chuckles, 'So unless you're refusing to kiss me, I'm pretty sure we're going to.'I don't even answer and pull him down to my height.
'I guess you're not refusing then.'
'I'm not the one losing fingers here.'
'But we are losing time.''
'Still sick aren't you?'
'Just a cold,' I mumble while trying to clean up my hands.
'Maybe we shouldn't kiss until you're better.' 'If it was contagious you would've got it by now.'
'That's not what I mean.. if it makes you unable to breath probably and you start to cough we should chill.'I hear his footsteps coming closer and feel him standing behind me.
'What are you washing of anyway?'
'I don't know just this thick dark liquid.' 'Hold up,' he turns me around, 'As in blood?'
'Smells like it.. doesn't look like it.' 'Dammit Cal, stop being so selfless! You could've an internal bleeding.' 'Wouldn't I have been in the hospital by now then?' 'Uh yes!'
'I'm sorry,' I mumble.
'It's fine.. you just found your way out I guess.' 'What do you mean?'
'You're sick and I don't think your dad wants you to die in here.'I laugh quietly because of the joke forming in my head.
'If I die..' 'Calum!'
'Let me talk. If I die I want him to have my middle finger.'
'How long are we going to keep these finger jokes up for?' 'Hm..'
'Fuck you're adorable, you don't fit in in a place like this.'
'I can be a badass.'His finger trails my jawline and his hand ends up underneath my chin, where I rest my head up on.
'A.. dorable.' 'Badass.'
'An adorable badass?' 'Fine with me.'
