'Why do you need blood straight from the donor?'
'Testing.'
'I understand, but why straight from the donor?'
'Because O negative didn't react at all to the virus and I don't want to steal it from the hospital again.'
'You probably could've got it illegally.'
'I can't trust that.'

'Okay so sit down.'
'Wait you're going to do it?' I ask a bit shocked.
'Did you think a ghost was going to do it or something?'
'No but.. I didn't expect.. you.'
'I could be working in a hospital if I wanted.. don't worry I've got experience.'
'Why aren't you a doctor then?'
'I am.. kind of.' 'Hmhm.'
'Calum this whole virus thing is a big research.'

'So.. left or right arm?' 'Left.'

'

'So what are you exactly doing right now?' I question after a while.
'You're quite curious aren't you?'
'I guess.'

'Look so this is your blood alright?' 'Yea?' 'And this is the virus.'

He combines the two test tubes.

'Nothing happens?'
'Give it a few minutes.'

Suddenly the whole liquid turns black.

'Excellent,' he states.
'What the.. what?'
He chuckles.
'I'm not aware of what it does.. like fully.'

'So why did you need my blood?' I question again.
'To prove it does the same for ever blood type.'

'And now what?' I ask after it has been quiet for a while.
'Where you expecting a juice box and a cookie?' 'Maybe,' I mumble.
'You didn't give me that much blood Calum,' he smirks, 'Anyway you'll need to stay here. Just in case it somehow got into your blood.'
'Hold up! That is an option?!'
'Shh Calum you're going to give me a headache if you keep talking this loudly.' 'Sorry.'

'So what are we going to do now? Just wait?' 'Basically.'

I slump in the chair as I wait for this day to end.

'What are you planning to do with the virus?'
'Name it when it's in it's complete form,' he answers lazily.
'But what's your plan with the virus when it's.. you know.. complete?'

'Calum stand up.'
'You didn't answer my q..'
'I don't have to,' he quotes me, 'stand up.' 'Why?'
'Calum can you stop acting this difficult and just listen to me for once.'
'You're the enemy you know.. why would I listen?'
'Sweetheart, you're all alone in this building with me and I don't need a bed to screw you over if you don't stop.'

All I do is swallow and get up.

'Good, come on we're going for a walk.'

I don't question it anymore and just follow him around the building.

'I couldn't work in a place like this.. it's to.. gray?' I question to lighten the mood surrounding us.
'I hate it as well but we need to move a lot so I deal with what I got. When this virus is complete I will have my own building anyway.' I nod.

We walk up a set of stairs.

'Where are we going?' 'The roof.'
'Why?' I ask freezing in place.
'Calum,' he turns around to look at me, 'I'm not getting rid of you yet.. don't worry. I'm not done toying around with you.' 'Sounds lovely.'
'I am lovely, why haven't you figured that out yet? Come on let's go.'

The stairs end before a metal heavy looking door.

Levi turns a key in the door and opens it slowly.

'I still don't understand why we're here,' I mumble.
'Don't give me a reason to push you off.'

We walk over to the edge where he simply sits down and let his legs bungle.

'If you look there,' he points, 'that barn there.. that's where my dad lives.'
'And why are you telling me that?'
'He plays part in human trafficking, I'm sure that's interesting to your people.' I sigh. 'Probably, the problem is that I have know idea where I am.'

'So uhm.. how do you even earn money?' I ask after a moment of silence.
'I work Calum,' he says as he shakes his head and chuckles quietly.
'You're testing or creating, or whatever you call it, a virus.. doesn't sound like that makes you money,' I mumble.
'Again.. I work.' 'As what?'
'I..' he quiets down, 'I'm a so called transporter.'

'That's.. kind of lame.' 'Excuse you?'
'You just.. drive around.' 'Excuse you!'

He stands up and just a few seconds later I find myself being pressed down against the cold cement floor.. the roof basically.

'You wouldn't be able to pull it off. Besides it's far more than just driving.'
'Alright.. whatever you want to believe,' I mumble. 'Calum I swear.'

'I honestly just can't picture you as a transporter,' I state laughing.
'You don't know me for that long.'

I give up having a normal conversation with this guy and gaze at the clouds slowly passing us.

'That cloud looks like a dog,' I mumble. 'Hm? Which one?'

He sits down next to me and looks up as well.

'The one that looks like a dog.'
'Calum I swear.'
'That one.' I point at the cloud I was talking about.
'I think it looks more like a cat but.. I get what you mean.'

We cloudgaze for a while and it feels like the world around me is finally becoming peaceful again.. I can finally relax for a bit.

'The sky is just special.. you know?'
I look over to him.
'Yes it is.. when there are clouds and starts otherwise it's boring,' I respond.
A smile covers his face. 'Yea.'
