I wasn't paying attention to the movie.. I couldn't.
'Levi can I.. tell you something?'
'Of course you can, the question is if you want to.'
'Can I tell you something to just get it off my chest and you just sit there, look pretty and don't say anything until I'm done?'
'You've called me handsome before.'
'Don't act like you don't know you're..'
'Don't finish that sentence,' he sates, 'But go ahead I'll shut up and let you finish your story.''Okay so.. that woman who we saw some time ago, my therapist. I didn't listen to her, I didn't even give her a chance to tell me why I shouldn't like boys. I was in a relationship with one, so of course I didn't want to listen or believe her. She didn't really like the fact that I didn't so she..' I take a deep breath, 'So she would hit me on my knuckles when she thought I wasn't listing. But I kept seeing Grayson, he was the only one who were there for me at that time and I needed him.
My dad he.. payed people to keep an eye on me and even listen in on my conversations. That's how she found out that just talking didn't work.
After four months she.. thought of another way to learn me it.'He must have noticed my discomfort because he takes my hand and gently rub his thumb up and down, not saying a word at all.
'She would force me to remove my clothing, sometimes even torn it off and she would take whatever she had in the room and.. beat me.
Mostly on my back and well.. after three years I couldn't take it anymore.'He doesn't answer but just wraps his arms around me. One of his hands cups the back of my head and strokes soothing fingers through my hair guiding my head to his chest.
'I will murder her,' he whispers.
'It happened years ago..'
'It still haunts you.'I sigh and just focus on the beating noice coming from his chest.
'Who knows?' 'Hm?'
'Who knows she did this to you?'
'No one well.. you,' I mumble.
'So you tell this to the guy who's supposed to beat you up.. why?'
'You wouldn't use it against me or accuse me of lying.'
'But why tell me now? What happened that made you want to tell me?' He responds.
'Something happened while I was at my dad's and I can't bare carrying more things on my shoulders.''You have way to much past to be a super secret spy or whatever.'
'That's not what S.S.S stands for.'
'I'm pretty sure no one knows that.'
'You have a point there..'He takes a deep breath and releases my slightly trembling body.
'Your birthday is supposed to be fun not.. fucked up.' 'You kidnapped me!'
'I haven't been mean have I?'
'No.' 'Well then.. shut up,' he replies.'I should probably stop seeing you,' I mumble after finally finding the encouragement to do so.
'Not happening.'
'No let me expl.. hold on,' I firmly look into his eyes, 'You actually enjoy seeing me?'
'Of course I do, you would've mysteriously died already if I didn't.'
'So when you're bored of me you'll..'
'No darling.. I.. don't think I can do that. You're way to high up for that,' he replies. 'High up?' I repeat.
'Well.. your dad is. But why do you want to stop seeing me and who made you believe you have a chance of escaping me?'His hand moves my chin upwards.
'I'm not going to let you run away from me.. you're not.. getting.. away.. from me.. ever. Got that?'
The words he speaks hit me like acid digging holes into my skin.
'It doesn't matter where you go Calum.. I'll always be your shadow.
I won't let you leave.. you're mine alright? Mine to beat.. mine to torture.. mine to toy.'
'Holy,' I try to push the guy off, 'Levi you're scaring me.'
'You know you're my favourite right?'
'I'm sorry.. are you.. treating others the same way as you're treating me?'I take a step back.
His laughter fills the room making me feel even more scared and uncomfortable.
'You're the only one Calum.'
'Levi what's wrong with you?'I take another step backwards trying to avoid him.
'Are you afraid of me?'
His voice changes into a softer one.
'Wasn't that obvious when I said that you were scaring me?'
'Baby I don't want you to be scared.'
'Well stop acting like a.. like a douche.'He takes a step forward what makes me take another two backwards.
'Calum please.. fuck.. I'm sorry.'
I slowly walk more and more away from him hoping he doesn't notice.
'Stop walking away from me!'
The anger in his voice scares me so much that I jump slightly and crashes over a table leg.
I prepare myself to hit the ground, but it doesn't happen..'Ho ho ho.. don't fall.'
His arms feel like clamps making sure I won't move.
'You didn't let me explain why I brought it up,' I whisper.
'Because there's nothing that's going to stop me from coming after you,' his grip loosen, 'I'm sorry that's just how it is.' 'What do you mean?'
'You're always going to be after me.. so I turned the roles around.'
