Pov Levi

I took Calum to an other house I own close to the beach. I wanted to just take him home, to my place, but Gray insisted on taking him here.
I didn't really use this home, it's not bad or anything it's just.. far away from everything.

I couldn't have waited for longer.. something.. someone, could have made him want to flee.

A sudden scream brings be back to the world we call home.

I dash out of the chair I was sitting on and make my way over to the trembling boy.

'Hey.. hey.'

I sit down on the side of the bed and stop him from falling forward.

'Shh.. just a dream, it's just a dream.'

He wraps his arms around my torso and I bring us back down in a laying position.

'I'm here, don't worry.'

He burries his head inside my chest as quiet sobs leaves his body.

'It sucks.. I know, I'm sorry.'
'Is this.. ever.. going go stop?'

His voice was hoarse because of the many times he had screamed today and the day before.

I look at him with pity as I stroke his hair for both mine and his comfort.

'This is the beginning of stage four, stage five is the last stage.. I'm not sure if the nightmares go away in stage five since,' I sigh deeply, 'Since people don't seem to react or knowledge anything at that point.'
'When.. will that start?' 'Stage five?'
'The whole.. not reacting.. thing.'
'Depends on your situation, it could be midway stage four at the end of it or the beginning of stage five.'
'And.. how many days.. are we speaking.. of?' He replies.
'A week, maximum and stage five can last anywhere between a day and two weeks.' 'So I have.. three weeks left?'
'Calum don't say that!'
'Accept it,' he whispers as he closes his eyes again.

I take that as my call to leave again, but as soon as I get up his arms tighten around me.

'Please stay.'

A smile appears on my face as I lay next down to him again and he wraps his limps around me.

'You don't hate me then?'
'Of course not.. why would I?'
'I lied about the virus being contagious to get out of prison and I hurt you with the antidotes.. should I continue?' I explain.
'At least you're not letting me suffer alone.'
'You're too good for this Calum.. all of this,' I whisper. 'I'm not.'

It's quiet for a while after that, he's not sleeping, but just staring at the wall.

'What did you name it?' 'Hm?'
'The virus.. don't act like I don't pick up things when you turn off the tv.'
'Night night.' 'Why the fuck..'
'I needed to come up with something fast alright,' I explain.
'You're going to be associated as the guy who created the virus night night from magic stardust.' 'Stardust?'
'I don't know how you did it.'

I laugh quietly and move to sit up which resolves in Calum grabbing on to my waist instead

'I took an old virus and it's antidote and created this.' 'But viruses change.. they put on a fake moustache and a hat and your body is like you're new.'
'It's hard to explain.'

'Anyway you're going to be associated as the one who dates the guy who created the virus called night night so,' I state. 'I guess.'

I sigh as I look down at an almost sleeping boy.

'Marry me Calum,' I sigh, but no reaction.

I sigh again and brush through his hair.

'Fucking marry me before you die,' I whisper once again.
