'Luckily your still alive, I really didn't trust it.'
'No I'm fine.. he just wanted to make sure I wasn't infected. He probably would've kept me for testing if I was.'

My answer is expected with a nod.

'So got anything useful for us?'
'About his personal life or the virus thingy?' I ask to confirm.
'Whatever you got he's a complete mystery to all of us,' Felix answers.

He's clearly bored already.. I don't know how long I'm going to survive without punching him in his face.

'Well.. he doesn't really like his father because he plays part in human trafficking. I don't know if that's useful to know.'

I decide not to tell anything about what his dad had done to him, I don't know why.. maybe because it's just.. too personal?

'That could just be a distraction to make us focus on someone else.'

Is it? Is it just a trick? Did he just make something up to distract me?
That would make him a big asshole.
I didn't sound fake though.. but then again, maybe he can lie this well.

I will kill him if it was a lie.

'And the virus?'
'It turns blood into this deep black colour, that's all I know,' I reply.
'Black?'
'Yea.. after just a few minutes of contact. It's weird.'
'I never heard about something like that.' 'He's still developing it.'

'He just started with it.'
'What has he done before this?'
'Why do you think he has done something else?' Felix asks.
'Well.. he was known before I came here and if he just started with it.. I assume he has done stuff before,' I reply.
'He was involved in some crimes but there's not enough evidence to blame it on him so he got away with it.'
'And assault?' I ask.
'That's not as easy as it seems.'

'So he gets away with everything?' 'Basically but.. this virus.. it's finally something we can lock him up for.'

They're being so vague about what he had done.. it's like they can't tell me.. but I'm part of the team right?

Right?

Pov Levi

'Grayson.. you knew Calum right?'
'Yes, why?'
I sigh quietly.
'Were you close friends with him?'
He swallows loudly enough for me to hear. 'We weren't just close friends.'
'That explains his reaction when he saw you.'

'But why.. is there something you want to know?'
'Hold up I want to know your past with him first.'
'No,' he mumbles. 'Gray.. now.'
'No.. no Levi I can't.'
'You better have a good reason otherw..' 'Otherwise you'll dislocate my wrist, I know.'

'But what about him?' He asks.
'In general is he easily distracted?' 'Depends.' 'Depends on?'

I drum my fingers against the wall as the boy starts to annoy me.

'Depends on the situation.. in class he was the head student but.. when you talk with him.. every bird he sees will get mentioned. He does this beca..' He stops talking. 'Grayson!'
He sighs.
'He does it because he.. hates talking.. I guess you can call it like that. He hates it if a conversation goes quiet. He hates it when a conversation is awkward, he thinks it's his fault.'
'That explains a lot,' I mumble.

He moves a step closer to me.

'What exactly does it explain?'
'Are you trying to intimate me?' I ask as I take a step closer to him as well, 'Are you sure you want to do that?'

'For Cally I would.'
'Grayson, are you aware about what you just said?' I reply. 'No?'
'You called him Cally.. you called him Cally. What an awful nickname.'
'I didn't.' 'Oh yes you did.'

'Now tell me Gray,' I pin him against the wall, 'did you, the girl chasing Grayson Peterson, date a guy?'
'Leave me alone,' he mumbles.
'You dated Calum!' I throw my hands in the air and he uses it to break free, 'You dated Calum! I expected more from you.'

I feel how he weakly hits my chest.
I grab his wrists and hold his hands away from me.

'Now.. now Grayson.. since when is it smart to hit me?'
'Leave me alone!' He yells at me. 'Getting aggressive KitKat?'
'You bloody know how much I hate that nickname.. do I need to smash your skull in order to understand?!'
'Grayson.. you're getting a bit to aggressive for my liking.'

He sits down against the wall.

'I loved him Levi.. I really did.'
'Oh jee.. you need someone to talk to.. hold on let me get into the right mindset,' I make an attempt to do a yoga pose, 'Alright ready.'

I sit down next to him.

'So what happened?'
'His dad.. that man is awful,' he mumbles.
'Yet it was his mom who didn't even want to thank or see him after saving her life,' I reply.
'He broke after that.. he didn't trust anyone anymore or did he want to talk with someone.'
'So he's vulnerable?' 'Levi please..'

'Right.. I was going to be a good listener.. sorry. So uh.. his dad why is he awful?'
'To much money.. to much of a picture in his head of how things should be,' he sighs, 'The picture of Calum being gay wasn't really there.'
'So both his father and his mother want to live in a certain way?' I ask.
'Yes.' 'Imagine the amount of weight he needs to carry.'

'But how did you guys break up?'
'Like I said.. Calum broke. He wasn't himself anymore and started blaming me for literally everything that went wrong and I couldn't take that anymore so I ended it,' he replies.

'So he's horrible?'
'No! I mean.. I'm sure he changed.. please leave him alone.'
'Gray.. you gave us his last name.. you even attacked him. If you wanted me to leave him alone you wouldn't have done that. Maybe I'll just give him a quick visit soon..'

'Don't hurt him, the guys been through enough.'
'I can't promise you and you know it.'
