Janelle POV

Me:Maaa!

Mom:Yes, Janelle are you ready to go? You're supposed to be at the gym in 20 minutes.

Me:Have you seen my shorts? They aren't in my bag!

Mom:Look in your bottom drawer, they should be in there if anything. If they aren't just grab another set and let's go, Anissa and Dad are in the car waiting.

I groan and slide to my dresser looking inside and find the green shorts, I stuff them in my bag and grab my gloves running down the stairs and me and mom rush to the car. Dad pulls off once we buckle up. Anissa looks at me and nudges me.

Anissa:You nervous?

Me:*shrugs* It's not my first fight Nissa.

Anissa:Right, it's your third one, technically you are still a rookie, you don't fight the same people.

Me:Stop trying to get in my head.

Anissa:I'm just saying.

I roll my eyes, I try to calm my nerves until we make it inside the gym, I hug my mom and dad before going into the locker room to change. I hear someone knocking on the door and fix my hair before telling them to come in. It's the ref and he tells me the rules before telling me I have 4 minutes until I need to be in the ring ready. I nod and call my dad and ask him to help me wrap my hands up before we rush into the room the fight will take place.

I see the girl I'll be fighting, she's big, she can't be 10 years old, she's Anissa height. I get inside the ring, I see some guy with the girl toss something into the her mouth quickly before giving her water. Isn't that against the rules? I'm sure it is. The ref goes over the rules again before making us punch gloves.

I step back but the girl stands still, I feel my adrenaline start up but she stays the same. I stand up straight, I notice her skin glows for a split second before she suddenly attacks me, throwing punch after punch but I end up blocking majority of them until I get annoyed, I push her off and get off the rope, I shake my head dodging her punches but she hits me a couple of times.

Once I get my rhythm back she's charging at me again throwing punches that could knock me out, I dodge them as best I can the crowd gets loud in my ears but I focus on the body of this girl. I look at her feet and see her step left and I punch left throwing her head back, I hear the bell ring but she keeps chasing after me. I run away from her she keeps charging. I feel her trip me and I catch my self and turn around as she tried to stomp me. I jump back up and throw a punch to her face and keep going, I keep punching, throwing punch after punch.

Me:You're starting to piss me off.

Just when I try to pull away she throws a punch to my jaw knocking me into the ropes I shake it off and I feel energy surge through my body and I bounce up with a right hook, I hear a crack in her jaw as she drops, she starts to shake and seize and soon she doesn't move anymore, the crowd is silent as the ref and other people run into the ring, my parents guide me out of the ring, we watch as the medical professional on site checks her pulse after a few seconds he shakes his head.

She's dead.

I feel my mom snatch her hands off of me and I step towards the ring again but dad grabs me and pulls me out of the area. Khalil, Keenan and Anissa follow us until we make it to the locker room. Dad puts me down and I drop down on the bench.

Anissa:... She's dead... You killed her.

Dad:Enough Anissa. It was a mistake.

Anissa:Dad this isn't a Rocky movie! Janelle just killed a eleven year old girl!
