Khalil POV
I wake up to my mom shaking me and Nell, telling us to get up.
Momma: You two are not about to sleep all day. Get up I'm about to go to work, it's food in the fridge and let me know if you guys leave out alright?
Me:Yes ma'am. Bye momma love you.
Momma:Love you too. Bye babies.
Nell:Bye momma. Be safe.
She walks out and after a minute we hear the door close, I fall back onto the bed but Nell gets up.
Nell:Get up Khalil.
Me:For what? We don't have anything to do.
She pulls her head scarf off and smacks my chest, I sit up and rub my chest.
Nell:We gotta start training. Let's go.
Me:I don't feel like it!
Nell:Youre such a baby. You better be up by the time I get out the shower Khalil Payne.
She grabs her bag and slams the door making me wince at the noise. This small girl is a pain in my ass. I flop back down onto the bed.
Sploosh!
I jump up and gasp, inhaling water as I try to catch my breath. I wipe my face and watch as Nell cracks up with a dripping pot in her hand. She wipes her eyes and stands up from the bed.
Nell:I told you to get up. Jamie is waiting for us.
I glare at her and soon her face drops before she runs out of the room, I hop over the bed and run after her as she screams apologies. We make it to the kitchen and I glare at her, she holds her hands up and can't stop laughing.
Janelle:I'm not sorry, I told you to get up.
Me:You almost drowned me!
Janelle:Stop being so dramatic!
Me:You water boarded me!
Janelle:You didn't have anything covering your face!
Me:You better say sorry.
She shakes her head and I just watch as she gets even more amped up, she's pretty when she's gets excited.
Nell:Come on! I gotta get one more practice in before my fight tonight! Can you please be the great best friend you are and go get ready?
Me:Can't do that.
Nell:I'll do your homework for a month if you leave me alone.
I fake moving to the left and she takes off, I chase after her seeing as the apartment isn't large I push her and she falls on the couch, I fall on her and she laughs trying to move and I start to tickle her, and of course she starts to scream.
Once shes out of breath I get off of her and walk to the bathroom closing the door, but I open it back up and yell out to her.
Me:And clean up all that water and change my sheets girl!
Nell:Boy you ain't my daddy!
I open the door wider letting the door creak and I see her run past the door and into my room.
Me:Hhmh like I thought.

I sit next to Jamie as we watch Jan it's the third round and the girl is bloody.
Jamie:This girl is the business!
