Janelle's POV
Dad:Jan this is Perenna, she's a friend of mine and she offered to help you... Since you've become a nightmare to the other three therapists.
Me:Why do I need to talk to a therapist? I'm not having any problems nor am I having 'troubling' thoughts.
Dad:Because you promised your mom that you would and don't you miss Jen and Anissa?
Me:I only miss Jennifer, and that was before mom made me feel like a psycho killer.
I look at Perenna and she smiles lightly and speaks her voice low and faux soothing.
Perenna: Give me a try. I've been known to help anyone with any problem.
Me:2 hours?
Dad:No actually just one.
Me:Even better.
Dad:You'll be in my office.
I nod and we make our way inside, I sit down and she sits next to me moving her seat so she's looking at me.
Perenna:You're frustrated.
Me:Good of you to notice.
Perenna:Why is that?
Me:I don't know, what did my dad say?
Perenna:He says it's because of the help they are trying to get you.
I look at her and raise an eyebrow, I lean back into my seat and look at her.
Me:They tell you the story?
Perenna:I told him to let you tell me when you're comfortable.
Me:I fought a girl... Her dad made her get high right there in the ring, she was a beast she chased me even after the bell rang... I got angry and I felt my body get... Heavier and I threw a punch to her jaw, the room was silent as the crack of her neck and jaw rang out, I didn't even think they could hear it, I later found out that I broke her jaw too well disconnected it. I didn't even think I could do that. My mom hasn't been the same since. My sister either.
Perenna:Have you tried talking to her?
Me:I don't want to... I don't want to talk to someone who looks at me like I'm some type of monster. She took my sisters because she's 'afraid for them' Anissa is 17 years old! What could I do to her?
Perenna:You broke a girl's jaw and neck. You can do alot of damage, does Anissa fight?
Me:No.
Perenna:Size doesn't matter, it's the talent of the fighter that matters. You could do more damage to Anissa than to Jen if she trains like you do.
Me:So you agree with my mom pulling us apart?
Perenna: I can't give advice on others parenting, but I can give advice and guidance something I think you need. I know about your powers.
I sit up and she smirks and nods.
Perenna:I heard your story in the streets, do you know how hard you would have had to punch to break those major bones? Not extremely but I'm sure you haven't trained to break bones. You're a rookie.
I look at my dad through the glass and back to her. She smiles and nods.
Perenna:You have to learn to channel it and when to use it.
