"Why sudden, Vien?" Chris ask me confused.

"I have to talk to you, guys, later."

"What it is all about? Vien?" He was so confused. His forehead crease while he leaned back in his swivel chair.

"I'll tell you later-"

"And sudden resignation?" He cross his arms. The serious Capt. America, it is.

"I have too.."

He sighed, and seat properly. "Fine, just please later on, tell us, okay?"

"I promise. I'll text you, later, i need to go back to my unit." Tumayo na ako sa visitor seat at iniwan sa table ang resignation paper. "Thank you, Chris." I smiled at him.

Tumango lang siya at tumayo na. He open the door for me.

"Take care." He said.

"Okay, text you later." I said and walk out of the restaurant.

Pag-kadating ko sa unit ay inayos ko na ang mga damit ko, inilagay lahat sa maleta. Maliban na lang sa susuotin ko.
I already talk to the manager about my unit. It's already settle. When 6 p.m came i texted my friends, to come over.
I order food and drinks for us.

"Vien, what the hell? Is it true, you file a resignation?" Bubgad agad sa akin ni Anni, pag-kabukas ko ng pintuan.

"Yeah.." mabilis siyang nag-lakad papalapit sa akin at hinawakan niya ako sa magkabilang balikat.

"What? Why?!"

"Can we sit first, Anni?" She sigh heavily and we sat in the long couch. The boys are in another couch.

"I'm really sorry, guys. That i'm gonna tell you just now everything.." I tell them everything, what's my reason coming here, why i left Philippines, and specially about him, and reason of my sudden resignation. A long hour of talking, they just listen to me. Never ask question, they wait for me to finish my talking.

"So you're my cousin's wife?" It was Chris, he's so shock.

"Yeah, i just knew it, when Jamaica came here... i just never thought of you.. being related to him.."

"What.. the hell?" Anni was so shock, it was her first time being speechless.

"When is your flight back to Philippines?" Ken ask.

"Today, 12 o'clock."

"That fast?! Jeez, Vien, you should have tell us earlier!" Bigalang tumayo si Ken, at nasapo niya ang noo niya na para bang dismayadong dismayado sa ginawa ko.

"I'm sorry, everything is sudden, i need to go back, early as i could." Ken sighed and sit back at the couch.

"I'm sorry, Vien. If i just know, nasabi ko na sayo.. sorry.."

"No, it's not your fault, Chris. I was avoiding any news about him." I sighed.

"Its already 10 o'clock, we'll drive you off to the airport." Ken said.

"No, I'm commuting."

"But, you can't be late."

"No, i won't be." I said.

"I'm going with her." Anni, she already talk after a long silence of her.

"In the Philippines?" Chris ask.

"No, just in the airport." Tumango naman ang boys. I stood up and went my room. Kinuha ko ang maleta ko at lumabas na muli.

"Let's go." Anni said. I look around my unit, i think I'm gonna miss this and them..  i look at my friends. I smiled at them sadly.
