The Lonely and The Brave

Chapter 11 - Behind the Masks -

((A/N: Notice how "masks" is PLURAL. That's very important ;) it might be wise to remember that it's plural and not singular... -w-))

Hiro and Baymax made it back in one piece, no damage done to themselves or their suits. Hiro came back looking a lot more happier than he did when he had left, and it made everyone's mood brighten. His happy face was enough to put everyone in a better mood.

"I had Baymax run a scan of the entire city," he said, "And we've found him on an island."

"Alright, then what are we waiting for?" Kira asked, placing her hands on her hips, "The more time we waste, the more time this guy has to escape or do whatever he wants to do."

"Right." Hiro grinned and looked around at his friends, "Let's go catch us a bad guy."

Hiro had gotten better at navigating Baymax. GoGo sat to the right of Hiro while honey sat on his left, Wasabi held on to Baymax's fist for dear life, Fred was held by Baymax's other fist, and Kira, despite them flying over water, was having the time of her life flying in her own suit.

"This is so cool!" She laughed, flying practically anywhere she could,

"Yeah!" Wasabi replied, sounding very nervous, "If I wasn't terrified of heights, I'd probably love this! But I'm terrified of heights so I don't love it!"

"Oh c'mon Wasabi! This is AMAZING!!" Her grew grin as she went higher, then lower, and finally started flying next to Baymax.

"Flying seems to improve your neurotransmitter levels," He said to her.

"Hell yeah it does!" She laughed.

After yesterday's events and seeing her so panicked from the water, it was nice to see her smiling and laughing. Soon, everyone landed at the island, finding a structure in front of them. Everyone got off of Baymax and slowly inched towards the structure in front of them. It was silent, until they heard a sound behind them that immediately caused panic. Hiro ran behind Baymax since their suits were supposed to work together, GoGo was flinging disks, Honey threw chemical balls, Wasabi was yelling and swinging his laser hands everywhere, Fred was breathing fire, and Kira took out her sword and had swung it in a circular motion in hopes of hitting whatever made the noise.

When they all had finally stopped, they looked around for the source of the noise...

To find a harmless pigeon.

It made a soft "coo" noise before flying away. Each of them exchanged glances.

"Well... At least we know our suits work," Honey said sheepishly.

They turned around to face the structure and looked at Wasabi.

"You've gotta cut it down," Hiro said.
Wasabi activated his laser and slowly made a very jagged entrance for them to climb in.

"Nice job," GoGo mumbled,

"it's harder than it looks!" Wasabi replied.

Slowly, everyone walked down the dark hallway, the only sound being their footsteps, until Fred decided to start singing.

"7 friends, led by Fred, their leader~" he sang happily. Kira sighed gently, knowing full well that he wouldn't be done any time soon.

"Freeed~ Feed's angels, mm mm mm~ Fred's angels~. Harnessing the power of the sun with the ancient amulet they found in the attic~ mm mm mm~
The amulet is green, mm mm~."

'If he keeps singing I'm going to kill him,' Kira thought angrily, her "annoyance levels" rising steadily.

"It's probably an emerald~."
