"You're... You're both going back...?"

Kira didn't understand why she felt so... Sad, that her dad was going with Mathew. She didn't understand why she felt this way towards someone she thought she hated. Brandon kneeled down in front of his daughter and placed his hands on her shoulders. She looked down and closed her eyes, feeling tears in her eyes.

'...Why...'

"Kira," He said softly, "Mathew and I love you a lot, but... You and I both know that even if he, and you, forgive me, I still need to pay my debts for what I've done. Mathew's bringing me to prison in San Andreas, under my own request."

"Y-Your request?" She looked up at him and he could see tears shining in her eyes. Yet she didn't understand it.

Did she really... Love him?

He was her father, but that didn't justify what he had done.

"Yes, my request. We all know that I can't just hide from what I've done. I have to do this, 'Rose Petal'."

Her eyes widened at his words, especially when he said her nickname.

"I love you, Kiddo. Wait for me, will you? And don't grow taller than me?"

He held out a hand, expecting her to only shake his hand. Instead, she practically leapt into his arms and hugged him tightly.

"...I love you too," She said softly, "I don't understand why I'm suddenly feeling the way I do, and why something is just telling me I feel this way and forgive you, but I feel like I need to listen to it..."

He smiled and wrapped his arms around her, returning her hug.

"Thanks for listening to it..."

Over the intercom, they heard the train Brandon and Mathew needed to be on was called, and Brandon released his daughter.

"It's time for us to go, Kira..." He kissed her forehead and stood up, "See you later."

Mathew hugged Kira and looked over at the group, "Watch over her for us, will ya?" He asked, "She gets herself into a lot of trouble, apparently."

They laughed softly, but all nodded.

"Alright, Kid, we'll see you sometime. Keep your head held high."

She nodded, blinking away the tears in her eyes.

"Will do."

Within a few minutes, they were on the train, and then they were gone. The group surrounded Kira in a group hug, and the brunette hugged them back.

"You'll be okay, Kira..." Honey said,

"Yeah! Soon, you'll see them back here and do... Well, anything you guys want to do!" Fred added, "Then you'll be a family again."

"What are you talking about?" She asked, grinning at them, "You guys are my family."

She then broke their hug and they all began to walk back to the car.

"Kira," Baymax said, "Are you feeling okay? Your neurotransmitter levels seem to be changing."

"I'm fine, Baymax," she replied, "I'm not sure how my emotions are right now..."

Hiro's fingers intertwined with hers as they got into Wasabi's car.

"Do you want to talk about anything...?" Wasabi asked as he began to drive back to Kira's house.

"...No," She finally said, shrugging slightly, "Like I said, it'll be okay. It'll take a little more time for me to get used to being alone again, but now I have Rover, so it's all good."
