A window slid open and a figure slipped through it. Feet hit the wooden floor, creeping through the room.

Approaching a bed, the figure gently tugged the covers down.

A little girl was revealed and the figure tugged his hood down.

"Y/n?"

He propped her up on the bed, cradling her in his arms.

"Hey, sweetie. Wake up. It's me."

Y/n grumbled in her sleep, readjusting herself in his arms. Blinking the sleep from her eyes, Y/n looked up.

"Daddy?" (I'd like to point out this is a CHILD saying it, not in the filthy way)

Callum Lynch embraced Y/n, tucking her head under his chin.

"I'm home."

After his arrest, Y/n was taken by CPS and handed to the first foster family available. She's jumped from foster home to foster home until her adoption papers were filled out by another family.

"Can we go home now?" Y/n asked. "I don't like this place."

"Then you better get dressed."

"Who are they?" Y/n asked, tightening her grip on her father's neck

"Who are they?" Y/n asked, tightening her grip on her father's neck.

"Just friends," said Callum. "You don't need to worry about them. You're safe."

"You said that last time and I got taken away." Y/n mumbled.

Callum places Y/n down on the ground, kneeling down beside her.

"That is because I made a mistake and I'm sorry that I did. I never wanted you to be taken away from me."

Y/n wrapped her arms around his waist.

"But you won't let them take me away again, will you?"

Callum hugged her back.

"No. Never again."

My first time writing Callum Lynch. It's not the best, in my opinion. Tbh, I actually did forget about him. I watched the movie about six, seven months ago? Didn't like it very much. Also, this is the 100th part of the book!
