"HOW COULD YOU LOSE YOUR OWN CHILD, JACOB!?"

Jacob winced at his twin's shout.

"Yell at me later! Help me find her first!" Jacob snaps at Evie.

"You better hope she's all right, Jacob," Evie told her twin, "If she has any injuries, you're getting one too."

The said child is toddling around London by herself. Y/n didn't particularly remember how she managed to crawl out of her crib and out the window, all she remembered is falling right into a pile of hay and crawling out of it.

"Now, what is a baby like you doing all the way out here?" A woman gasped, she picked the child up and balanced the child on her hip. "Now, where is your mama and papa?"

The woman went around asking if anyone recognized the child in her arms. Not a single soul recognized her. The woman sighs.

"I suppose you will have to come and live with me for the time being." She smiled when Y/n giggled and carried Y/n to her home.

Y/n looked away from the wet rag the woman used to clean her face. Her aunt Evie has done it multiple times when Evie found Y/n playing outside in a mud puddle.

"Hold still." The woman hummed, grabbing Y/n's chin and making her look forward.

"There we go," the woman released Y/n's chin and picked the cloth and bowl of water up. "Stay there. Don't go anywhere." The woman got up from the floor and emptied the bowl of water out.

When she returned, she saw that the child is missing. In her place is a letter. The woman opened it and it said,

Thank you for finding and taking care of my baby rook. I understand that it was stupid of me to leave her unsupervised and I have learned my lesson. Thank you again.

JF.

"Don't you go running again." Jacob lightly scolded, bopping Y/n's nose as he and Evie walked back to the train.

Y/n sloppily kissed her father's cheek as her answer.

                                                              "Okay. You're forgiven."

                                                               "Jacob!"

                                                                "What?! She's cute, okay?!"
