"Desmond, are you sure this is a good idea?" Rebecca asked. "I mean, you and Y/n are the ones Abstergo wants."
"Rebecca, it's just for a few minutes," said Desmond. "Besides, this is Y/n's first time seeing fireworks in person!"
Desmond readjusted Y/n on his shoulders before grasping her hands.
"Desmond, this is a terrible idea," said Shaun. "We can get caught!"
"Yet you're here anyway, Shaun."
"Well-I-"
"I mean, he's not wrong, Shaun."
"Rebecca!"
Y/n giggled causing Desmond to tilt his head back.
"You like that?" Desmond teased. "You like watching Rebecca and Shaun bicker?" Y/n giggled again causing Desmond to chuckle too.
"Yeah. That's my favorite sound."
Whoosh.
Y/n looked up and saw a bright flash.
"Yeah," Desmond quietly said, watching the expression on Y/n's chubby face. "Yeah. It's great being a dad."
This is more of a drabble and I apologize for the shortness. Nobody has answered my question about Ko-Fi so I'm hesitant of starting it.
Now, I have another question: if I were to start Ko-Fi, which is better? Stripe or PayPal?
