When Nick kicked the door open, they found the place empty, they didn't find their suspect in there. They searched everywhere, checking every corner of the place in case the criminal hid, but without positive results.

"I thought he'd be here..." Vol said with a disappointed air and lowering his arms.

Nick sniffed the place. "He was... I'm noticing that he was here not too long ago, this place still has some fresh scent of him."

Judy put the gun in its holster. "We just have to know where he went."

They spreaded throughout the house. They looked for some accusatory or incriminating evidence in the midst of the commotion of objects and stuff. While the foxes searched the buildings, Judy went for the documents, picking them up and going through them one by one. After spending some time searching, she found what might be a clue.

"Come here both of you, I found something interesting." Both foxes went closer to see it. "Let's see... I see a line traced with drawn trees... That square looks like a vehicle... making a journey..."

Nick began to understand. "Notes of the accident caused. He had planned what to do and the possible execution of it was what happened in the end."

Vol was writing down all the details in the notebook that he always had in his pocket and ready to use. "Anything else we can find out from all this?"

Judy kept turning the pages and a report and a receipt fell from within them. They seemed to indicate something special. Nick picked them up and examined them.

"Hmmm... These look like signed papers. The printout is from... a passport and the receipt is from an online sale, paid to a travel agency. Looks like he paid to catch a flight."

"It says what agency or something from the trip?" Judy asked and Nick shook his head. "Date?"

Nick's eyes widened as he read. "The payment was made this morning to leave in the afternoon. We have to stop him!"

"To the airport, now!" Vol exclaimed and the three of them rushed to the police car to go after the suspect before he escaped from Zootopia.

Hurriedly, they got into the vehicle and Judy accelerated as fast as she could, with no time to waste. They activated the siren and dodged the cars the best they could on the freeway. Even so, they didn't miss the opportunity to check each of the cars in case they found him, but without success. They kept the road to the airport, the only one in all of Zootopia, at high speed. As they left the car parked, they got out fast, looking for where he might be.

"Any details of where he was going, Nick?" Judy asked.

Nick remembered what he saw. "It was a weird name. It seemed like a city far from here..." He looked at the flight panel and saw the destination and the corresponding flight code. "There! Boarding gate 6. Let's go!"

They ran towards the place, gate 6, without slowing down. They were against the clock. They made their way through the passers-by at the airport in search of the criminal. It could be possible that he had already taken the plane... but, luckily, it wasn't like that. The boarding gate hasn't yet opened and passengers are waiting to board. At that moment, Nick made a decision.

"Let's keep an eye around here, he'll show up as soon as the doors open."

Judy looked from side to side. "Keep your eyes open."

Vol had something on his mind and decided to pretend. "I know it's not the best time, but I need to go to the bathroom for a moment."

"Perfect timed, bluish." His counterpart smiled, not losing attention.
