(The appearance above is a Photoshopped Nick Wilde with Vol's colors to make Vol have an appearance in Zootopia's world)

What was seen from the hooded character after removing the head cover was quite abnormal in Zootopia... Nick and Judy were stunned by the appearance of the new one. The body hair was bluish, white on the chest up to the chin, apart of light blue eyes. Red hair between his ears, the tips of his ears were red, the inside of them yellow, and the rest of the ear, black. His tail was blue, with a red ring and white tip. Both of his paws were red on fingers and toes, black until the knee and the elbow and blue all the way to the shoulder and hips. This fox wasn't very common in that place and it seemed that it was clear why he was hiding from everyone. Having removed the part that covered his head, he felt slightly uncomfortable, even if there were only the policemen and the same strange fox. The feeling of discomfort filled the interrogation room and neither the vigilantes nor the bluish character dared to say anything. Silence quickly took over the place and, even if it was for a few seconds, that sensation stayed in the body of the three mammals that were there. It would take more than a benevolent attitude towards the new character to calm the uneasy tension. No one dared to speak until Judy broke the silence after looking at Nick for a moment.

"And... are you a fox?" She asked, very curious and in a very soft voice to not make him feel worse.

"Indeed, Judy," he sighed, "I'm a fox with somewhat strange colors." He looked down, closing his eyes, as if waiting to be judged. He felt that he must already be used to all this or, at least, he gave the impression that he had already lived it.

"And so strange... I've never seen anything so weird..." Nick said quietly. When Judy heard him, she elbowed the fox slightly hard in the side, to which Nick cringed in pain. "That hurts, Carrots."

"Excuse my partner's rudeness, we didn't mean to make you feel bad." The rabbit wanted to sound kind to the sorry mammal they were questioning.

"Are you kidding me? It's the least bad thing I've ever been told, I almost appreciate him saying that." The strange fox laughed after the comment, as if it was a joke. The couple didn't know what to say, since such a reaction seemed out of place. Still, they just had to do their job.

"Ehm... We'd like to know your name." Judy went back to the case they were in and the reason why the new fox had been held.

"Of course, my name is Vol Jimenez." The blue fox finally said his name with a smile, feeling good to say it.

"It sounds weird to be a name... Are you sure that's it?" Nick doubted the new character, he didn't think that was the real name of that vulpine.

"But of course, it's the name my parents gave me." That different fox joked about the topic of his name.

"I don't remember that kind of name in the database." Judy said, thinking, crossing her arms and trying to remember it. "I think we'll have to search more exhaustively".

Vol cackled at the comment from the good bunny. "You can search as much as you want... Zootopia isn't my birthplace and I did nothing here to appear in that base. You couldn't find me even with all the resources in the world." The police couple looked at each other again. They certainly have had many cases, but none as rare as the one they have before their very eyes.

"What do you mean? All animals are registered, so you should be." The whole situation sounded very odd to the charismatic fox and Judy's companion and could do no more than doubt the suspect.

"I should... but I'm not... I don't belong in Zootopia... I come from a very different place..." They both doubted what that fox was trying to say. Vol simply relaxed in the chair, making the minds of the policemammals go doubtful.

"Would you mind explaining it to us? If it's not a burden." The rabbit approached the table, putting her arm onto it, trying to be close to him. This had her stunned and she couldn't find a logical answer. Her only plan was to try to take as much information from the fox in front of her as possible, ingratiate with him.

"If you drop the formalities and start talking informal to me, I have no problem." The bluish fox gave a very natural laugh when he asked the little gray mammal for such a thing.

"Okay," she smiled, "what is your origin?" She could find the answers once the fox starts with the story, joining threads in that tangled ball of wool.

"Well..." Vol put his arms on the table, pulling his body closer and prepared to tell the story of his origin, which had the officers intrigued. His face denoted complete serenity, now comfortable and ready to open his heart and possibly his secrets.

They would discover at once who or what that fox is, what mysteries he hides and other doubts that the policemen had. At least, this was how the fox Vol was shown: Calm, collaborative, reliable, friendly... qualities gave confidence. Without a doubt, that fox was something never seen, all very suspicious but, at the same time, very open because of how he expressed himself, because of how he confessed and how he joked... Not even the fact of what Nick said offended him in the least, he was even happy. Who is Vol?
