Chapter 32

Sela's POV

Nag-suot lang ako ng isang pink na dress since my favorite color is obviously, pink. I fixed my hair into a bun and I apply light make up just to not look like a slut who's going on a bar but instead, going on a date.

Ugh, date. I blushed at the word.

I still can't believe this is happening. Like, me? Going on a date? With Abby? Seriously, you're kidding me.

So, after that night, yeah, that specific night, we both agreed to not rush things for both of us. Since our feelings are mutual, I told her na manligaw muna. Ano ba ineexpect n'yo? Ako 'yung manliligaw? Duh. Obviously, s'ya 'yung lalaki sa relasyong 'to. So she must be the one to make a move.

Anyways, I wore my three inches heels and just one move to look at the mirror and I'm off to go.

Time check, it's 6:50 in the evening. Nag-text na si Abby sakin kaninang umaga at mukhang excited pa ito sa date namin dahil maganda ang gising nito nang i-text ako ng good morning.

Pagbaba ko ng living room ay naabutan ko si kuya Ugi na nanonood ng NBA katapat nito si Dad sa kabilang couch na nag-babasa naman ng dyaryo.

Nilapitan ko sila at parehong kiniss sa cheeks, "Oh, aalis ka na?" Dad asks.

"Yes, dad. Baka parating na din si Abby." as if on cue, we heard a sound of a car honked outside.

"Baka ayan na nga si Abby." sabat naman ni kuya nang marinig din nito ang kotse sa labas.

"Sige na dad, kuya. Una na po 'ko.."

"Alright, take care sweetie." I smiled at dad and hugged him sideways. "Yeah, I will."

"Sumbong mo sakin 'pag may ginawa 'yang si Abby ha. You know, I'm just one call away." natawa naman ako sa sinabi ni kuya. Gosh, they're really sweet. How do I got so lucky?

"Hahaha, alam ko namang 'di gagawin ni Abby 'yun kuya. But, thank you." I sincerely said and hug him also.

"Oh, s'ya. Remember, umuwi before--" Dad wasn't able to continue what he's saying when mom suddenly came in the living room and cut him.

"Hay, sweetheart.. Hayaan mo na 'yan si ineng, malaki na 'yan." she turned to look at me and say, "Sige na, 'wag mo nang isipin 'yung oras na sinasabi nitong daddy mo. Enjoy yourself there and be home after. That's enough." aww.

Imma cry right now because of them--treating me like I'm a real baby. I hugged them one last time and went outside to meet Abby.

Once I stepped outside the house, I saw the first person I'm dying to see this morning and is now in front of me.

Her outfit is just as casual as mine. But wearing this--casual attire--black leather jacket with a plain white shirt underneath partnered with a black ripped jeans and boots--really screams hotness. Uh, yeah. That's considered as casual for me.

"S-Sela.." hanggang ngayon nauutal pa rin talaga siya 'pag kausap ako. Well, I don't have the right to complain kasi gano'n din naman ako.

I shrugged the thought and went in front of her. I can see that she's looking intently at my outfit that made me smirk.

"Like what you see?"

"Ahh... Y-You..." nauutal na sabi nito kaya naman mas lumapit pa ako dito.

"I'm what?" natatawa ako dahil namumula na ang mukha nito pero hindi ako nag-pahalata.

"You're so beautiful.." nagkakamot batok na sabi niya kaya naman namula ako.

"T-Thank you. You're not bad yourself." I replied.

"So, let's go m'lady?" she offers her hand in front of me kaya naman ay natawa ako pero kinuha ko din ito.

"Sira." I then heard her chuckle.

She walked me to the shotgun seat and opened the door for me. I mumbled, "Thanks." when I settled at the seat and smiled at her.

"You're always welcome, m'lady," she replies in a smug face.

Inayos ko ang seatbelt ko at nag-lakad na rin ito papunta sa driver's seat at nang makapag-seatbelt na rin ay nag-umpisa nang mag-drive.

After almost an hour drive ay nakarating na rin kami sa place na sinasabi niya. Siya ang pumili ng lugar since siya naman daw ang nag-aya i-date ako and it's also her treat. Hihi.

"We're here." naunang bumaba ito sa kotse at pinagbuksan ako ng pinto. And since naka-heels and dress ako ay inalalayan ako nito papasok sa loob.

Isa itong restaurant and if I'm not mistaken, it's an Italian one. I have experienced eating with an Italian restaurant before but the difference is, now, I'm with the person I love.

Pagpasok namin sa loob ay may ilang mga couples na ang kumakain at may sari-sariling mundo. Tahimik lamang dito sa loob dahil maganda ang ambiance ng lugar at hindi ito mukhang low-class na restaurant lang.

Napangiti naman ako dahil napaka-sweet naman ng babaeng nag-dala sa akin dito. Ngayon pa lamang kasi ay gusto ko na ang lugar na ito.

Bigla namang nakuha ng atensiyon ko ang pag-bitaw ni Abby sa kamay ko at paglapit nito sa reception desk kung saan ay may babaeng crew na nakatayo.

"Hello, good evening ma'am! How may I help you?" rinig kong tanong nito kay Abby nang makalapit ako.

"Good evening, reservation for Abby Trinidad please." huh?

"Oh! Miss Trinidad. Kayo po pala 'yun, sige po. Our crew will lead you to your VIP reservation ma'am." nakangiting tugon nito at may tinawag na isang lalaking crew.

"Ricci, would you please lead them to the VIP area?" anito nang dumating ang lalaki.

"No problem, boss! This way po ma'am.." ngumiti ito at naunang mag-lakad sa amin.

"Let's go?" muli ay inilahad sa akin ni Abby ang kanyang kamay at tinanggap ko naman ito bago kami sumunod sa crew.

"Nag-pareserve ka?" tanong ko dahil kanina ko pa hindi maintindihan ang nangyayari. Akala ko kasi ay kakain lang kami sa simpleng restaurant and that's it, 'di ko naman alam na may pa-reservation pa ang ate niyo.

"You'll see.." she smiled at me and I felt her squeeze my hand that made me immediately calm down at the gesture.

Hindi ko mapigilan ang mapa-takip ng bibig gamit ang kamay ko nang makarating kami sa VIP area.

There's a man in a suit holding a violin at the corner and the room is filled with candles that made the elegant table and two chairs at the middle stand-out.

I turned my head to look at Abby and she's now looking at me. "Seryoso ka ba? Dito tayo mag-de-date? Abby, 'wag mo 'kong pina-prank prank jan ha. Maiinis talaga 'ko sa'yo." I crossed my arms in front of her and she just laughed at me.

"Oh ngayon, tinatawanan mo 'ko. Abby, seryoso kasi!" I whined and stamped my feet at the ground.

"Haha, seryoso din kasi ako Marsela! Ba't ba ayaw mo maniwala sa'kin? Hindi ba kapani-paniwala 'tong mukhang 'to?" she asked me while guiding my body to went near her by pulling me on the waist.

Gusto ko mang mag-sinungaling at sabihing 'Oo, hindi kapani-paniwala 'yang mukhang 'yan', eh hindi ko naman magagawa dahil wala atang panget sa pagkatao netong si Abby.

She held my hands and put it on her neck while her hands are still settled at my waist, securing me.

"Ano, mukha ba?" she asks me again.

I just sighed, "Fine. You win."
