"Abby, wait."

The latter stopped dragging her and heaved a sigh before looking away.

"What ha...I...I m-mean who's—"

"What?" Abby asks in annoyance.

"Anong—Hoy, Abelaine. 'Wag mo 'kong ma-what what jan ha." Sela crossed her arms in front of her and Abby just sighed for the second time.

"What now?" tanong ulit ni Sela.

Nanatili namang hindi umiimik ang isa.

"Ano na? Hindi mo pa rin ba i-kekwento sa'kin 'tong mga nangyayaring 'to? Abby, I'm not that stupid to not know that something is going on between you and that guy. So please, just tell me before—"

"Let's go. Baka ma-late pa tayo sa class. Promise, we'll talk about it later..." tututol pa sana si Sela nang mag-salitang muli si Abby. "...AT HOME."

Because of that, Sela finally gave up and let Abby drag her towards their room.

"Guys, intay!" mula sa likod ay maririnig ang boses ng mga naiwang kasama.

Last class...

"Class dismissed."

Pagkatapos maligpit ang kanyang gamit ay tumayo na agad si Sela at nilapitan si Abby sa upuan nito.

Upon noticing the feline lady in front of her, Abby just stared at the latter in boredom.

"What? Gusto mong hilahin pa kita d'yan sa upuan mo ha, Abelaine?" Sela asks her in irritation.

Natawa naman ang huli bago tumayo at isabit sa kanyang balikat ang backpack nito, "Fine, fine. Whatever. Let's go."

Before walking out of the classroom, Abby took one of Sela's hand and intertwined it with hers.

She then looked at Marsela and suddenly wink that made the girl a blushing mess. Sela just looks away without even complaining about their clasped hands.

Nakatingin lamang sa kanila nang may pag-hanga ang mga estudyante habang nag-lalakad ang dalawa kasama ng kanilang mga kaibigan sa hallway patungo sa parking lot malapit na exit ng unibersidad.

Mukhang bumalik na rin ang dating sigla ng pinsan ni Abby na si Coleen dahil wala na ang kaninang inis na imahe sa mukha nito at ngayon ay mukhang masaya naman na ito dahil makikitang naka-akbay ang kanang braso nito sa balikat ng naiibigang si Mari.

"So pa'no guys, una na kami." Dana broke the deafening silence when they reached the parking lot.

The others just nodded their head and follow their partners towards their cars.

Naiwan naman sina Abby, Sela, Coleen, at Mari sa parking lot nang paisa-isang mag-drive palabas ng school ang mga kaibigan nito.

"Ehem, uh—ate Abby...?" muling pagbasag naman ni Coleen sa katahimikan.

Abby just heaved a deep sigh and eventually nodded her head.

"Yeah, I'll talk to her," muli nitong ibinaling ang tingin kay Marsela na kanina pa ring pinag-mamasdan siya. "We'll talk about it. I will tell her whatever she needs to know."

Then she smiled at the still confused girl.
