Sela's POV

Lahat kami ay nagulat nang isang malakas na tunog ang pinakawalan ni Abby mula sa pagbukas nito ng pinto.

Nabigla naman ang lahat nang kasabay ng malakas na tunog na iyon ay ang tahimik na paglabas nito.

"Anyare du'n?" tanong ni Alice.

"I...don't know." tahimik na tugon ni Sheki.

Habang nakatungo naman ay nagsalita si Brei, "I think...it's because of us. It's because of what happened."

I looked at them and sighed, "If that's really the reason, then you should make suyo suyo na to her. Kayo kaibigan no'n. Mas alam niyo kung ba't nagkakagano'n 'yun."

Others nodded their heads in agreement.

Alice and I started to fix our things 'cause it's time to go home. After we gathered our things, we looked at the three only to find them also looking back at us.

"Tara? Dismissal na rin naman so tapos na 'yung detention niyo." Alice said.

Lumabas na kami ng office at nagpaalam na rin 'yung tatlo dahil pupuntahan pa raw nila si Abby.

"Girl, una na 'ko ha? Iintayin mo pa ba kuya mo?" Alice asked me.

"Yep." I smiled at her.

"Okay. Ingat!"

"Sige Alice, ikaw rin!" I waved at her saying goodbye.

Later on, I found myself on the side of the university's entrance gate, waiting for my brother to arrive.

Napapapadyak na ako sa tagal dahil 6:20 pm na pero wala pa rin ito.

Nakasimangot na ang mukha ko dahil sa inis nang may biglang tumigil sa harapan ko na isang black audi. Like, sa harapan ko talaga.

My heartbeat fastens in nervousness. I looked around and there are no more people around here. May isang lalaki na naka-hoodie pero paliko na ito ng kanto.

I hastily grabbed my phone inside my bag and ready to dial dad's number when a voice interrupts me.

"Need a ride?" a husky voice coming from the car if I heard it right.

I gradually looked up from my phone to meet the owner of the voice.

"Abby?" kunot-noo kong tanong nang makilala ko ito.

Paano kasi, naka-shades ang babaeng 'to na nasa harapan ko ngayon kaya hindi ko agad nakilala ang mukha nito.

"Uh-huh. That's me." she removed her shades and I instantly stopped my body from showing some reaction to the next thing she did.

She winked at me.

Nagulat man ay hindi ko pa rin pinahalata at nagsalita ulit, "Uhm, about your question a while ago... 'Wag na. Susunduin ako ng kuya ko. But thank you, anyway." I didn't stutter, did I? Nice one, Sela.

"Sigurado ka? Dumidilim na oh."

"Oo nam–" I was interrupted by my phone that vibrated on my hand. I have to check it, so I did.
