Abby's POV

"Justin..." rinig kong mahinang sambit niya.

Justin. Justin. Justin... It's always him. And always have been him...since that day.

Flashback

"Sela, ito pala 'yung lunch mo. Your favorite. Masarap 'yan. Pinaluto ko kay Man—" natigil ako sa aking pagsasalita dahil biglang sumingit ito.

"Abby..."

She's here, in front of me. Nangungusap ang mga mata nito ngunit walang gustong kumawalang salita mula sa bibig nito.

Andito ako sa labas ng office nila dahil balak kong ibigay sa kanya 'yung pinaluto kong favorite niya kay Manang kanina sa bahay.

Naisip ko kasi na nakakaumay rin 'yung panliligaw na puro kain lang sa labas. It's not about those fancy restaurants, you know. You can also make your girl happy with just simple things.

Also, I realized that a way to a man's heart is through cooking. Yes, she's not a man. I know. But if that'll make her feel extra special, then so be it. After all, her happiness only matters.

I stared at her in confusion.

"Everything's fine here?" sino pa ba, e di si asungot na naman.

I don't know. If it's just me or after that incident regarding Sela on our P.E which was volleyball that time, and after that gay-looking Justin technically saved her, napansin kong dumadalas na yata na magkasama sila.

"J-Justin. Uh... Yes, everything's going fine." Sela answered him. At hindi rin nakaligtas sa mga mata ko ang pasimpleng ngiti nito sa lalaki. Tss.

"Oh, that's good. Are you ready?"

Kumunot ang noo ko sa tanong nito na halata namang para kay Marsela.

"Aalis k-kayo?" nagtatakang tanong ko.

I turned my head to look at her eyes for confirmation and I almost curse in front of them because of what she did.

She avoided my gaze and look at everything but me before answering.

I know she's aware that I'm starting to get mad because of what's happening right now.

"W-We're..."

Tumaas ang kilay ko nang hindi ito makapagsalita nang maayos at mas ikinainit pa ng ulo ko ang pagsabat sa usapan nitong si Justin.

"We're gonna go outside to eat our lunch together. It's okay, right? I mean, you're her best friend. So I think that would be okay. Yeah, I think it's okay. We're gonna eat outside."

Nagtanong ka pa, e ikaw rin naman 'ung magdedesisyon. An idiot indeed.

"Oh.." the only thing I managed to say.

"So, shall we go already? Baka ma-cancel 'yung pinareserve kong table for two if we won't be there on time." this scumbag said.

A table for two? Oh, come on. Kayang-kaya ko bilhin 'yung buong restaurant just for you, my princess.
