Getting Ricky's attention was not easy. The guy was always surrounded by people or locked away in his office doing god knows what all day. David had known he would be busy, but now that he understood exactly what Ricky's responsibilities were, he felt bad for getting upset over his lack of free time.

One of his plans had been to follow the man around till he found an opening. Unfortunately that opening never presented itself due to just how popular Ricky was. He always had his assistant, a coworker or a visitor at his side. More often than not, Sasha had to bring him his lunch because Ricky would work straight through the day without taking a break.

David had even tried scheduling time to hang out with him, but when he asked Sasha for an opening in his calendar he quickly learned that Ricky was backed up for the next three months.

Once, David snuck a peek at Sasha's computer to see what had the man's attention all the time. He noticed some of the time slots were just labeled "Meeting" with no attendees. Curious, he resorted back to his original plan and followed Ricky out of the office and into the parking garage.

This was particularly suspicious because as a CEO, Ricky should have his own personal parking spot similar to Mr. Blacks. Then David turned the corner and caught his best friend in the middle of a very intimate moment with one of his husbands who had decided to stop by for a visit.

It took David a moment to stop staring like a total perv and scurry away. Never in his life did he expect Ricky of all people to do something like that in public. Maybe he didn't know his friend as well as he thought he did?

By Friday, David became desperate. Mr. Black luckily dialed back the workload he had been assigning once he noticed David was no longer hanging out with Kevin as much. Thanks to this, he was able to pursue Ricky in his re-obtained spare time. Not that he was having any luck.

The harassment didn't stop at all unfortunately. Just this morning David found that not only was his computer unplugged, but so was everything else at his desk. Worse, it was all tangled up into a giant knot. For the passed half hour he had struggled with untying everything so he could reconnect his printer.

"Everything alright?" An unexpected voice called from above him, causing David to jump and hit his head on the desk.

With as yelp of pain, David cupped his head and looked up to find Ricky watching him.

"Hey!" David tried to recover as he crawled out. "What's up?"

Ricky looked befuddled. "What were you doing under your desk?"

"Nothing." He avoided the topic and latched onto this chance before anyone could drag his friend away. "I've been wanting to talk to you about something. Do you have a minute?"

"Do I have a minute?" Ricky parroted, amused by the professional request. "Since when did you start asking?"

"Since you stopped replying to my texts and spent every second of every day in meetings?"

The smile on Ricky's face faltered. "Oh...I'm sorry. I swear I wasn't ignoring you. I was just...."

    "Too busy?"

The demon took a deep breath. "Want to talk in my office?"

David nearly shot over his desk. "Yes!"

Ricky bobbed his head, surprised at the abrupt answer, but grinned and shrugged it off without further question. "Wow, okay. Let's go."

Ricky's office was neat to look at, but was definitely far from comforting. All the walls were glass and they had to close the blinds just to get some privacy. Why would anyone want to work in a glass box like this? Sure it looked cool, but it felt so exposed.
