Warning! Smut <3

"Do you remember if the handouts had the schedule on them?"
"Yes. I have the PDF on my phone if you want to see for yourself." David replied in a matter-of-fact tone. "If Ricky has any questions, I told him to text me."
David had been working at the company for about eight months now and was finally adapted to being Mr. Blacks P.A. At the moment though, they were on vacation in the Alta Vista Water Gardens, yet the demon couldn't stop worrying about the upcoming company event after leaving Ricky in charge by himself.
Handing extra responsibilities off to Ricky was only one of many recent changes. For example, the intern program that David had suggested had also been implemented. There were now a dozen human participants and growing. The previous issue had been that Demon Society only hired people they knew, but thanks to David's suggestions they were able to restructure the process to give more equal opportunities, thus making Capsicom the first major demon owned company to break the tradition of nepotism.
A gentle breeze tousled David's hair. They stopped under a large pavilion at the end of the walkway to rest. The area was surrounded by beautifully trimmed bushes and stone ponds, with the gentle gurgle of rushing water in the distance.
Peter strolled over to one of the stone benches and sat. Despite being on vacation, the man was wearing a red silk shirt tucked into a pair of sleek black pants, whereas David on the other hand was wearing a blue shirt with elbow length sleeves and casual faded jeans. It was their vacation so he didn't dress fancy, but of course Mr. Black had to wear something professional at all times.
"I have something important to tell you." The demon announced as David plopped himself beside the man. "I'm leaving Capsicom soon, and I wanted you to be the first to know."
He might as well have slapped David with the reaction he got. "What do you mean?! It's your company!"
"Actually my company is called 'In The Black'. Capsicom was more of a pet project I started with Ricky, but now I feel like he's gotten a good grasp of how to be a good CEO, so I'm going to hand complete ownership over to him soon."
"Are you moving away then?" David asked fearfully.
"Unfortunately yes. Which is why I wanted to talk to you about it. You see, I don't want to leave without you. So I was hoping..." The man reached into his back pocket and stood, holding out a white velvet box as he knelt on one knee in front of him. "I was hoping that maybe you'd come with me?"
Inside the box was a simple gold band with an ancient script carved into it. David noted how it vaguely resembled 'The One Ring' from Lord of the Rings, except that it had tiny diamonds aligning the top and bottom half of it. There was also a faint aura emanating from the metal, illuminating the box in a pale white light.
Temporarily distracted by the oddity of the glowing ring, David stared dumbly as he realized he was being proposed to.
His heart started to flutter, filling his stomach with those cursed butterflies that threatened to make him faint. Peter was kneeling before him with a worried yet hopeful expression as he waited for an answer.
Never the type to handle emotional situations well, he bobbed his head mechanically. "Why the fuck would I say no?"
Mr. Black was taken aback by the crude reply, but only momentarily as his face soon broke out into a gleeful grin. "You won't regret it! I'll make you the happiest man in the world!"
