There were quite a few perks to dating a rich, high ranking demon. One of them was being driven around in a limo anytime David wanted, or flying across the country to eat at fancy luxury restaurants. Mr. Black had even offered to buy David his own sports car after eyeing a sleek silver Corvette Stingray, but that was where he drew the line. He had hardly driven a day in his life and thought it would be overboard to get something so fancy when he could just ride the limo instead.

Peter still had some possessive episodes, but they were becoming less frequent the longer they dated. At first he would get prickly during the day as he fought to suppress his attacks in public, then he'd drag David off somewhere private to relieve some of the urgency. David was more than willing to help but was usually disappointed when the demon refused to let anything go beyond foreplay at the office. That was to be expected since Mr. Black took his job very seriously. It was both a relief and a shame when his body started to calm down once the demon no longer feared the little human rejecting him like before.

Then there was Ricky. The guy was all over David when he returned. They had to exchange numbers again due to him getting another new phone, and then he had to explain why he disappeared for two weeks since Mr. Black had chosen not to keep him informed. Turns out it didn't have anything to do with his jealousy over the man. In the end, it was because Peter thought that it would be best for David to tell the man himself, so he scheduled a lunch date with Ricky so they could properly get caught up.

As they talked, David learned that their meeting with the investors went over splendidly. After Mr. Black and Ricky announced that they already had two humans working for them, a majority of the investors showed interest in providing further funds to assist in Capsicom's restructuring. Of course this meant that the ones who shared ideals with the Mendova's decided to back out, which was fine since they represented a minority of their benefactors. What's more, they were quickly replaced by new investors once news got out about the companies plans. Peter for one was relieved that he'd no longer have to put up with a certain woman's harassment anymore.

Stephan had started working a week after David was sent to the Black's farm. Upon returning, he tried to check in on the guy to see how he was adapting. It turns out that he had no need to worry since the guy took to his new job like a fish to water. He already understood all the software and applications, and Ms. Carter was thrilled to have someone so skilled work under her. Apparently she had been concerned with training a replacement for Kevin.

Since it was an all demon company, David tried getting close to Stephan so he wouldn't feel uncomfortable being one of the only humans working there. Unfortunately that didn't go over very well when it turned out that Stephan was a workaholic. The guy only ever took lunch at his desk and was constantly hunting for things to do. He did ask David for assistance on a few occasions, but otherwise was doing just fine on his own and had little time for socializing.

On the surface, one would say that David's life had found it's happily ever after. His debts were under control, he had a handsome boy-toy to cuddle every night, and he had a very well paid job while living in the lap of luxury. Unfortunately not all was perfect in paradise.

It had been about a month since he returned to work and while everything was going fine for a while, slowly but surely the harassment started up again. At first it was minor things like his name being slandered in graffiti on the bathroom walls, but then it started to escalate. He would randomly have globs of food flung at him in the cafeteria, or he'd be knocked aside while passing another associate. Quite often he even had the coffee he was carrying knocked out of his hand. Of course the culprit acted extremely apologetic, despite having done it over a dozen times so far. The other workers would defend their friend, saying he was a natural clutz and that David was the one being racist for assuming it had anything to do with him being human.
