I stood before Crystal's grave for a while. It has been almost a year since she died and I missed her badly.

" I miss you Crystal" i whispered to myself while Christian put a single rose on her gravestone. We stayed for a few more minutes before leaving the cemetery.

" All good ?" Ashton, my boyfriend asked and I nodded in reply.

We started dating almost a month before. The shocking part was that I asked him  out. I had expected him to reject me after everything that happened with Jace but he didn't...

At school, I spent a lot of time try to avoid Jace. He tried to apologise, send me flowers and notes with I'm sorry written on them but I'd always return them. I wasn't sure I was ready to forgive him. Maybe one day.

Tori on the other hand blamed herself for everything which took a toll on her mentally. She had to be committed to a mental hospital for over a month. She didn't graduate. I felt sorry for her.

James moved permanently to California. He said everything here reminded him of Crystal and even though I would miss him terribly I agreed with him. We all heal differently.

" Do I look okay?" I asked feeling a little self conscious about my scar showing in my sleeveless dress.

" You look awesome Avy" Christian said

" I believe she was talking to me, the boyfriend " Ashton said " you look nice " he said whole we got in his car.

" Awesome beats nice " Christian said and stuck out his tongue.
" Does not "

' does to "

" Does not "

" Are you really going to argue with a child " I asked

" He started it "

' did not "

" Did to "

" Did not "

We finally arrived at the venue for the graduation after party I felt relief when I didn't see Jace anywhere.

We joined my dad, his new girlfriend Sharon. Jack wasn't very happy when she found out that they we're dating and she constantly joked about braking them apart. My mom was also there with her husband and little boy Alex and so were Crystal's parents.

I call her mom now we went to therapy and worked things out.

" Alright time to go "  Sharon said to my dad for the fifth time that evening. A the parents had begun leaving but my dad still wanted to stay " but she's my baby " my dad whined.

" I honestly don't Know the difference between dating you and having a four year old " Sharon sighed as she massaged her forehead.

" A four year old is shorter and whines less " I said earning a chucked from Sharon.

After a few more minutes of pursuation my dad finally left so did  the rest of the parents.

" May I have this dance ?" Ashton asked and I nodded. We danced to a slow song like we did in the Moreno gala only this time I didn't step on his toes.
