Allison's POV

Surprisingly, I woke up around noon completely fine.

I never used to get hangovers but considering the fact that I hadn't been drunk like that in years, I expected some type of headache.

I jumped in the shower and then turned my phone back on.

My mother texted me numerous times that she expects me at the house by 3pm because we had things to discuss. But I didn't care for her discussions.

I ended up leaving Bella's around 430p and heading over to my parents. I wore a day dress with spanks underneath to avoid the world seeing my lady garden.

I kicked off the motorcycle that I parked next to a nice BMW and headed to the door.

I knocked and then the maid opened the door. With wide eyes she ushered me into the dining room where dinner was being served.

I didn't miss the glaring look my mother was giving me. I looked to see a pregnant Roxanne and Chuck sitting at her side. On the other side was a few other people I didn't recognize.

"You're late." My mother said kissing me on both cheeks.

"Better late than never." I responded before greeting my father and sitting between him and the other guests.

Dinner went by as it usually does. I suffered through a mediocre dinner and boring as hell conversations.

"We can adjourn to the sitting room." My mother said standing from the table.

We followed her into the sitting room as we began talking some more. I hate southern hospitality. I would've kicked everyone the hell out of my house.

"Your mother says you're in school still." The lady I now know as Mrs. Campbell said.

"Yes, I start my last year at Clemson in the fall." I replied.

"What are you going to school for?"

"Mechanical Engineering."

"Oh wow." Mr. Campbell said.

"That's remarkable. So, dealing with machines?" Mrs. Campbell asked.

"Yes. I've always been interested in the mechanics behind things. I actually have my auto mechanics certificate to work on vehicles and I did a year of vocational school for that. And once completed, I did a year at community college before switching to do online and then finishing my last year at Clemson."

"That's impressive." She said with a smile.

I was cut off when my mother started gloating about Roxanne's Med degree. She was still working as a pediatric doctor until it was closer for her time to pop.

"You have two very intellectual daughters Miriam." She said.

"Yes." Was all she said.

"Well, I actually have homework I need to finish. It was a pleasure to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Campbell."

"We were actually going to head out as well. We will follow you out." He said.

I said quick goodbyes to my family and walked outside with the Campbells. They spotted my bike next to their car.

"Is that yours?" He asked.

"Yes. It's a Kawasaki KLR. I just bought it a few weeks ago." I said with a smile.

"It's impressive. Mrs. Campbell here won't let me get a motorcycle."

"This man would kill himself before he got to retirement age if I allowed him on a motorcycle." She laughed.
