Reaper's POV

Virus has been looking into Miriam, but he has been having trouble finding her maiden name. And I think once we get her maiden name all the puzzle pieces will come together.

I was in the gym going to town on the punching bag. I felt someone approach me and I took my ear phones out.

Ashlynn was standing there with a seductive smirk on her face and I wasn't in the mood.

"Not today Ashlynn."

"Oh. Uh, okay." She said before walking away.

I went back to punching the bag for another half hour.

By the time I looked at the clock it was a little after 3pm. I picked up my bag and went to go refill my water bottle at the water fountain. But I wasn't expecting to see Allison in the weight room.

I walked over to her and stopped her.

"What the hell are you doing?" She looked at me shocked.

"Uh, trying to get my muscle mass back."

"Your ribs are still healing you can hurt yourself worse."

She rolled her eyes.

"I feel better. I just want to be able to hold up my own bike without struggling so damn much."

"If you start working out now before you're fully healed it'll be even longer before you can hold it up properly." I said to her.

She slowly put her legs down and stood up.

"Why do you care?"

I closed my eyes. Maybe it was time we have that talk.

"Can we talk tonight?" I asked.

"Talk about what?"

"We have some air to clean between us and I think the conversation is long past due."

I could tell she felt the same way. After a moment I ask her again.

"Shut up, I'm thinking."

I couldn't help but smile. She was still just as sassy. It was the sassiness that really made her attractive to me.

"You can come over to Bella's. I think she was going out tonight any way. I'll cook you dinner."

I nodded and stared at her.

"What now?"

"Oh sunshine, you're leaving. I'm not letting you work out so you can injure yourself any more."

"You can't tell me what to do."

I smirked.

"Yes, I can."

"No, you can't. You're not my boss."

"No, but I'm the owner of this gym." I crossed my arms and her eyes went wide.

"What? No way!" She said.

I nodded.

She got a big smile on her face.

"I'm proud of you Lucas. This was always your dream. I'm glad you did it."

Hearing my name out of her mouth sent shock waves around me. It was weird hearing my name come out of anybody that isn't my mother, but it was a good shock.

"Shit, sorry, I didn't mean to Reaper."

I just smiled at her.

"It's fine really. But get out of here, okay? You need to rest." I said.
