Reaper's POV

Roadkill walked up to me as I sat at the clubhouse with a couple shots in front of my face.

"What are you doing here?"

"Should I be somewhere else?" I asked.

"With Allison."

I sighed as I downed the shot.

He sat across from me waiting for me to talk.

"I'm scared to touch her." I looked up at him.

My eyes were glossy from the liquor.

"What do you mean?"

"They. . . ." I paused.

"She was raped Roadkill and when they told her she had this look on her face. She doesn't even remember. I'm scared that what if I touch her and she remembers. What if my touch reminds her of what she wants to forget?"

"Have you talked to her?"

"No."

"You should talk to her Reaper. She's the only one that can shed light on how she is feeling."

"We still haven't even figured our stuff out before this." I said.

"Maybe it's time you two sit down and talk it all out. At once get everything off your chests. You two love each other everyone knows it. Y'all just need to get over this last hurtle."
I nodded and went to stand up but slightly started to stumble.

"Maybe after you sleep the alcohol off." He let out a little laugh.

I walked up stairs and went to sleep. I'll go over there tomorrow morning.

*

I was dressed and in front of Allison's.

Knocking on the door I heard shuffling on the inside and then she tossed the door open in a small crop top and baggy sweatpants.

She stepped to the side to let me in.

"I have coffee making. Do you want some?" She asked.

I nodded feeling the slight tension in the air.

A minute or so later she came out with two mugs of coffee and she sat down on the couch. I went and joined her.

"What's going on Reaper?"

"We need to talk." I said.

She put the coffee down and started fidgeting with her fingers.

"It's okay. I get it."

I looked at her confused.

"Get what?"

"That you don't want to be with me." She said.

Wait, what?

"Is that what you think?"

"You've been pushing me away and you never touch me or want to get near me."

I shook my head. I didn't see what I was doing might hurt her.

"That's not it, Allison. I was-no, I'm scared to touch you."

She looked confused.

I scoot closer to her and grab her hand.

"You don't remember what happened. And we're all slightly grateful you don't. But I'm worried that if I touch you, you'll remember. I'm scared if we do anything, you'll remember."

Her eyebrows scrunched.

"I didn't think of it that way."

"And it didn't help that we still haven't fully talked and got over the past yet either. But I meant every word. I love you Allison. I always have and always will."

She smiled.

"I will remember eventually. Those memories aren't gone. But with you here, it'll make it easier. With you by my side everything is easier."

I brushed her hair behind her ear.

"Can I kiss you?" I asked.

"You don't ever have to ask."

I brought my lips to her for a sensual kiss. But I wasn't going to take it further. She would have to do that when she's ready. Whenever that is. I'll wait for her.

She pulled away with a smile.

"Let's go get some breakfast. We can go to the diner down the street since I can't ride your motorcycle or mine yet."

I nodded as we stood up.

"Where's Arabella?" I asked. "Her car is here."

Her face dropped and she avoided eye contact.

"Alli." I said with a stern voice.

She puffed out her cheeks and blew out slowly.

"Alli." I said again.

"We should get food first."

*

I dragged Allison into the clubhouse.

Kraken was sitting at the table with a club girl, virus, and Goat.

He looked up at us with a smile, but he must've saw me anger and Allison's guilty expression.

"what's going on?"

He pushed the girl off his lap and stood up.

I slight pushed her forward.

"Allison. Tell Kraken what you told me."

She looked back at me begging me not to make her. But he needs to know, and Kraken won't take it out on her.

She cleared her throat and looked at the ground.

"Arabella left."

Everyone's back at the table straightened up.

"What do you mean . . . . left?" Kraken asked voice going rigid.

"As in Arabella cried to me saying you made Dino go no mad. And Dino showed up last night asking her to go with . . . . and she left." She said the last part in a whisper.

"HE TOOK MY SISTER?!" He yelled.

Allison shook her head no and stared at Kraken.

"No. She CHOSE to leave with him. She said she loved him."

He growled hitting banging his hands down on the booth.

"Virus, start look-."

"No." Vulture said walking up.

"We wont go looking for her. She made her decision." He said.

"Hell no!"

"Kraken, she'll come back. I assure you. We're family. She won't be gone long."

But we all knew how she was. She was stubborn. Who knows when she will be back, or if she'll be back?

I grabbed Allison's arm and brought her into me.

She stiffened at first but then melted into my arms.

"What now?" She asked.

"How about a nice easy day back at your place?" I asked her.

She nodded as I grabbed the keys to one of the trucks. It'll be a few more weeks before she can ride but we can take one of the trucks for now.

I put my hand in hers and we drove off to her house.

"I'm glad I came back."

"Me too." I said kissing her hand. "Me too."
