*Noah's pov*
For a moment, it looks like Em is gonna go after Logan - however she just finishes her chips, gets up and takes her rubbish to the bin. Finn is watching her with great concern. We're all silent when she sits back down.
Me: Why you all so quiet for?
She giggles then stops.
Me: Fuck this, I'm gonna go find Logan. You coming Millie?
Millie beams at her. She looks excited.
Millie: Sure!
They both stand up.
Grace: Em wait--
Me: I'm bored. You've all gone silent. Probably secretly judging me.
I look up at her.
Noah: Of course not.
Finn: We would never judge you. Why don't you just stay here? Lunch is almost over anyway.
Me: Sorry Finn, but I'm generally bored. I need to do something. Come on Millie, did you see where Logan went?
Millie: He went left.
Me: Left we shall go.
She giggles causing Millie to join in. Em links arms with her.
Me: Please stop judging me guys!
They both leave, whispering to each other.
Grace: That Millie...
Noah: Oh come on, it's not her fault.
Grace: She just went off with her!
Noah: So? All of you, apart from you Finn, don't seem to like her when you haven't even got to know her.
Jason: She's weird.
James: Very weird.
Noah: Stop being so horrid--
Finn: Guys stop. Millie isn't the issue right this minute. More than likely, Em got peer pressured into smoking that stuff. That Alisha sounds like trouble.
Jason: What do you expect? Have you ever met Alisha?
Finn: No, but I've heard enough to know I don't like her.
The bell rings. We all get up to leave.
James: Still find it pretty cool to be honest. I wouldn't have the guts to do it in school.
Grace: There's nothing 'cool' about it.
James: Bit hypocritical?
Grace: Oh shut up James. Finn's right, Alisha probably forced Em into it.
Jason: Em ain't a pushover.
Noah: He's right. Though Alisha is one of those type of people...
Jason: I'm her twin! I know her better than ALL of you! She's NOT a pushover!
Grace's expression softens.
Grace: That's not what I'm saying Jason. It's just, look at the facts--
Jason: There are no facts. James, do you want to come with me to make a quick phone call?
James: Sure thing.
