Are We Normal Yet?

~Chapter 19~

*Sky's pov*

I finish doing my makeup, adding just one more layer of mascara. 

Sky: Okay, how do I look?

I turn around to face Jaeden - whom is in the middle of dyeing his hair. He's going blonde.

Jaeden: You look great.

Sky: You don't think it's too much, do you?

Jaeden: Nope. Stop stressing.

Sky: I can't help it. I want to get it right.

Jaeden: You gonna tell him how you feel?

Sky: Yeah, which is why I'm nervous.

Jaeden: Honestly Sky, you'll be fine. Your outfit is fine, so is your hair and makeup. Just relax.

Sky: (smiles) Thanks for letting me stay here.

Jaeden: You should really thank my mum, but it's no worries. (smiles)

I grab my jacket from the door.

Sky: I don't know what time I'll be back, I'll call a cab.

Jaeden: You sure? I don't mind picking you up.

Sky: No no, you go and enjoy your night out. Where you going anyway?

Jaeden: Some skate park. Not my idea - it was Jack's.Wyatt is coming too.

Sky: You enjoy yourself then. 

Jaeden: You too. Where's he taking you anyway?

Sky: Some Italian restaurant. Can't remember the name.

Jaeden: Sounds romantic. He must really like you, y'know.

Sky: You really think so?

Jaeden: I know so. 

Sky: (puts jacket on) What about you then Jae? Any girl I should know about?

Jaeden: Nope, I'm still a single pringle.

Sky: Okay, but do you fancy anyone?

Jaeden: Well, --

The door knocks.

Sky: That'll be Joe.

Jaeden: Don't leave him waiting, go get your guy! (grins)

Sky: (grins) See you Jae!

Jaeden: Have fun!

I dive out of the room, butterflies in my stomach. As soon as I'm down the stairs, I swing open the door and am greeted by Joe.

Joe: Wow, you look beautiful.

Sky: (blushes) You don't look so bad yourself.

I step out and close the door behind me. Joe links his arm around mine.

Joe: Ready?

Sky: Definitely.

*Back to my pov*

Me: I hate waiting. It's making me anxious.

We're all sat in Finn's car, waiting for Tanya to come out her house. I'm sat in the front, Hayden behind Finn, Caleb in the middle and Gaten behind me.

We've decided to make the phone calls after tonight. Find out where she's going first.
