Are We Normal Yet?

~Chapter 32~

*2 weeks later - the evening before exams officially start*

*Tia's pov*

Jack: No, Tia, you've got to get on the skateboard like this. (He demonstrates) Otherwise it's just gonna keep rolling away like yours keeps doing.

Jack is finally teaching me how to skateboard properly. He's taken me to his favourite skate park, which currently we're the only ones on it.

So far, it's not going well. I can't even get on it without it rolling away.

Jack: Here, try again.

I'm also still fuming bout what Nick told me. Can't get over the fact that Dad is marrying and having a baby with a fucking Bimbo.

I try again, but the skateboard just rolls away. I let out a big sigh.

Tia: Sorry.

Jack: No worries. Here, hold onto me this time. That should do the trick.

Touching Jack? Yes please.

Okay, I know I shouldn't, but I am really starting to like Jack. We're not dating or anything, but we've made out quite a lot, so that counts for something right? I mean, he must like me enough to kiss me, and I don't mean sweet little kisses, oh no. I'm on bout the hot N heavy, tongue, makes you breathless kind of kisses.

Also, I haven't told anyone bout Jack. It's difficult cause I badly want to tell someone. I've come close to telling Em, (y'know, seeming as she told me bout her going all the way with Jaeden) but  haven't.

In fact, I dunno if I'm the only one, but over these last 2 weeks, I've noticed that Em ain't been herself. I actually questioned her on this and she told me it's "stress for the exams". However, I know there's more to it than that. I'm not that gullible.

Anyway, I hold onto Jack as I step onto the skateboard and...SUCCESS! I'm on!

I let out a sigh of pure relief and Jack grins.

Jack: Okay, now try riding it. You know what to do, right?

Tia: Uh huh.

Jack: Good good. Off you go then.

I start off slow, worried I'm gonna mess up - but I don't. Once I know that I'm not gonna lose my balance, I pick up the speed.

Jack: (cheers) You're doing great!

Y'know what? This is actually super relaxing. I could do this all day - I mean, look how happy Jack is that I haven't messed up yet. Nothing can stop me - I am INVINCIBLE! Who cares bout Dad's Bimbo baby, when I can ride a SKATEBOARD.

Yeah that's right bitches, move over - The Queen of Skateboardin' is in town!

I let out a cheer and turn to wave at Jack. I turn back around and...

Ah, shit.

I spoke too soon.

The skateboard is going too fast and it's gonna crash right into that kerb. I've forgotten what Jack told me to do to stop it.

Tia: Oh FUCK!

And down I go with a sound that sounds a bit like a scream mixed with a yelp.

My hands scrape against the floor, and my chin hits the floor with such force. Jack rushes over to me.

Jack: Are you okay?!
