Hayden puts his arm around her waist - the way they look at each other tells me one thing.

I exit the kitchen and almost bump straight into Jason.

Jason: I was quite shocked too. But maybe it should of been obvious.
Well no, because isn't she sleeping with Noah..? I am so confused...
Me: How though?
Jason: Alisha is really popular and very attractive. Hayden is also very popular and has the good looks. Also, he's come back home numerous occasions smelling of that Peach & Mango Victoria Secret perfume - the one that Alisha sprays on herself nearly every science and English lesson.
Me: I haven't been paying attention. I guess I should have.
Jason: But now you know.
Me: Yeah, I guess I do. I'll meet you in the car, okay? Save me the seat by the window.
Jason: Of course.
I rush upstairs, into my bedroom, and close the door.
Holy shit.
It's not even like I can ask her bout Noah - she doesn't even know that I know! Does Noah know the situation with Hayden?
My iPhone starts ringing - speak of the devil.
Me: (answers call) H-hey!
Noah: Bloody guess what!
Me: What? Are you okay? You sound..
Noah: I am fine, but Alisha came round earlier and ended the fling between us. After f...fucking 3 weeks of ignoring my calls, she decides now to start speaking.
At least she hasn't been sleeping with him while she's been with Hayden.
I let out a quick sigh of relief.
Noah: And you wanna know what she told me? She told me she can't keep this fling going for personal reasons. Wouldn't even tell me why!
Me: (speaks quietly) I know why.
Noah: What? She told you but not me --
Me: Noah, she's dating Hayden.
There's a long pause. I start to worry.
