~Chapter 26~

*An hour later*

*Sky's pov*

It's been an hour since Em went home. Jaeden did offer for her to stay for lunch - but she politely declined. I hope it's not cause of me. I'm generally sorry.

Jaeden: What exactly are you cooking?

Sky: Chicken wraps with sausages and salad.

Jaeden: (grins) Strange combination.

Sky: Tasty though. Come help me with the salad, while I sort the meat out.

Jaeden: Alright.

We both get to work.

Sky: Y'know, I was thinking while you were out, that maybe it wouldn't be so bad if she is pregnant. I'd help out of course, and that baby would be my 2nd cousin. It'd be fun and --

Jaeden: Sky, Em won't be keeping it if she is.

Sky: --Oh..why?

Jaeden: (sighs) I'm 17, Em is 16 turning 17 soon. We're too young to be parents. I mean, I'm still in college, Em will be starting college herself soon. We don't want responsibility over a child, we want to enjoy being teenagers. You get what I'm saying?

Sky: I guess so. (frowns)

Jaeden: Look, what would you do if Joe got you pregnant while you're still 17?

Sky: (shrugs) Probs keep it. I mean, I haven't really got a massive social life like you two, so I wouldn't be missing out on anything. My attention would be on myself and the baby.

Jaeden: And what about college? Your parents?

Sky: I'd move out. Drop out of college.

Jaeden: And where exactly would you go?

Sky: Well I'm sure Angela would look after me.

Jaeden: Please tell me you're not secretly planning on getting knocked up so you can get away from your parents?

Sky: Of course not! I was just answering your question. It's not gonna happen anyway, I don't want a child. But if it happened, I wouldn't have the heart to abort it. So calm down.

Jaeden: I am calm.

Sky: Okay, changing subjects. Let's play 'Would You Rather'.

Jaeden: Sure.

Sky: Would you rather be stuck in a room for an hour that's hot with no windows or a cold room with no source of heat?

Jaeden: Hot room. As long as you've got plenty of water, you'll be fine. Plus it's only for an hour. Kay, would you rather no longer eat chocolate or any kind of cake?

Sky: That's cruel! But probs cake...wait no chocolate. Oh I dunno, I love both of them too much!

We both laugh.

Jaeden: Your turn.

Sky: Would you rather live in America or live in Canada?

Jaeden: America obviously. Would you rather get stuck in a lift with a serial killer, or get stuck in a small attic with a deadly snake, aka an Anaconda?

Sky: Yikes! Um, probs the lift? Try and be civil with the dude.

Jaeden: But if he's a proper psychopath or sociopath, you stand no chance.

Sky: Okay, would you rather marry your ex or marry Emma?

Jaeden: There's no way I'd marry my ex. That's not a smart move. So, I'd marry Emma.
