Epilogue

"Oh my goodness, Ares! Tignan mo itong binabasa ko!" a woman said to her husband.

"Ano nanaman yan" the man grumbled as he looked to his wife's tablet.

"Look at this story about an engaged couple, it turns out na killer pala yung groom and he was the one who was killing the bride's friends. Apparently, pati tatlong family members, pinatay rin nung guy" the woman murmured as she told her husband.

"Sheesh. Dapat kasi kinikilala muna ang mga tao bago sagutin, buti nalang matagal na tayong magkaibigan noon bago kita inalok ng kasal" the man smirked which made the woman roll her eyes.

"Oh please, I could kill you if I wanted to kahit na mag asawa na tayo. All I'll need is a motive" the woman playfully said.

Behind the couple's seat, Mary couldn't help but listen to their conversation. After all, it was about her.

It had been exactly one month after Leo revealed he was the one going on a killing spree. News quickly spread about what he has done. Being confined for a few days because of her injury, Mary was visited by a journalist who wanted to interview her about the case.

She said yes eventually after being visited three times a day, so she let the journalist take her story and show them to the world. That was what the couple were reading in front of her.

When she decided that she wants to leave all the memories behind, she quickly made up her mind that she'll take a break by going to London. It was just going to be a few months but her mother cried at her for wanting to leave. Although her father said that it'd be good for her, he teared up as well.

She was currently on a flight to London and she could already taste freedom.

Free from the pain.

Free from the memories.

Of which one certain memory, where she stood in the rain as she watched a corpse of a guy named Leo, and was, for a moment, called bloody Mary.
