You and the other two were below in the sewer, hiding from the guards. The three of you snuck by under the grates pressed against the walls. The Blue Spirit poked his head up through the slits and looked around. He then came back down and pointed upwards. The three of you went for it, running towards the wall where the Blue Spirit left a rope. You let Aang go first. As he climbed the rope, bells and chimes rung out.

"Shit!" You cursed, looking around.

"There! On the wall!" A guard called out. You looked down and saw they had gathered around where you were. A guard from above cut the rope, sending all three of you to the ground. Aang used his air to break the fall. The Blue Spirit drew his twin blades, but when the smoke cleared, no one was around you. The three of you took off towards the exit. The gates were beginning to close, and dozens of troops lined up in front of them.

"Stay close to me," Aang said. He used his air to send the troops flying away from the first gate. As Aang ran closer to the gate, more guards and troops showed up. The Blue Spirit kept them occupied. You used your water to sweep them off their feet before slamming them into the fortified walls. The gates closed. You used your water to launch them upwards onto the battlements.

"LET'S GO!" You yelled, following them. Aang used a broken spear as a substitute. When you got up there, dozens more troops were waiting for you. Aang grabbed the Blue Spirit with his legs and tried to helicopter out of there. The soldiers threw their spears at them, but you used your water to sweep them off. Aang then crashed onto another section of the battlements. The two of them fought them off, but more came with ladders.

You used your water and trapped them inside, creating a mini whirlpool. You then threw them and let them smash against the ground. You took the water from the air and created a little mini wave, crashing over them. You then made a bigger water ball and trapped Aang and the Blue Spirit inside of it. You then launched them over the open field where they landed on the other side. You followed them. They ran past the gates. You followed after them, carefully looking up at where Zhao was. When you got a few meters away, the two of them turned. And it was that moment that the Blue Spirit was struck down. You launched yourself towards the two.

"Aang! Make a smoke screen!" You yelled. He acted quickly, drawing up dust in a mushroom cloud. You faced front with your water ready. Behind you, you heard Aang gasp. You turned around to see he had unmasked the person.

'Zuko.' You thought. It came to no surprise to you. Aang was about to run away, but stopped when he saw you haul Zuko onto your back.

When the dust cleared, you three, along with any evidence, was gone.

It was morning by the time Zuko began to wake up. You guys were in the middle of a forest, with you sitting between them.

"You know what I the worst part about being born over 100 years ago is?" Aang asked, "I miss all the friends I used to hang out with. Before the war started, I used to always visit my friend, Kuzon." You looked down to see Zuko groggily looking up at you two.

"The two of us, we'd get in and out of so much trouble together. He was one of the best friends I ever had."
You shifted lightly, just in case Zuko made a move.

"And he was from the Fire Nation, just like you. If we knew each other back then, do you think we could have been friends, too?"
Zuko shot up into a sitting position, bending fire towards you. Aang jumped, and you used your water to extinguish the flames. You jumped up to the trees and ran away, following Aang.

You and Aang returned to the swamp where he got two frozen frogs. Then you went back up to the ruins of Taku where Sokka and Katara were waiting. It was already another day when you got back. When you got to where the others were, you noticed an odd amount of items. He walked up to them and placed the frogs in each of their mouths.

"Suck on these. It'll make you feel better." He walked over to Appa's tail and collapsed onto it.

"Hey, how was your trip? Did you make any new friends?" Sokka asked through the frog. You glanced at the nomad.

"No," Aang replied quietly, "I don't think I did." He then turned over. You collapsed onto the floor as well and fell asleep.
