Hey there guys! As you can see this isn't an update, but a chapter is coming later today, so stay tuned! Thank you for submitting your questions, I hope you'll be satisfied with the answers. If you have any more questions, put them in the comments and I'll answer them in the comment section.

Also I want to thank those who voted for me for the 2020 Michael Jackson Fanfiction Awards (whether it is in the Best Romance category, the Best Plot, or the Grand War Edition). It may seem like it's nothing to you, but it means a lot to me. If you want Collide to be nominated, the book is called "Michael Jackson Fanfiction Awards 2020". Everything is explained in there!

Anyway... Q&A time!

What inspired you to create a story like this one? @BekMariah @bigmjfan1

I've had it in the corner of my head for years, but it took me a while to take the plunge and write it. I've always wondered what Michael's life would look like if some events didn't occur or if he had that special someone by his side; someone to guide him, to keep him safe, in a way. I've always had a strong admiration for doctors, especially pediatricians, hence Brit's character. I wanted to find something to link Michael with the main character, so I chose his love and admiration for children.

Has your story turned out how you originally envisioned it would be like? @BekMariah

I love that question, so thank you so much for asking. The answer is... No. Actually, I find new, better ideas for every chapter I write which draws me away from my original plot. The ending of the first book was supposed to be very different, but I am happy I came up with this one. As we speak, I still haven't a clue of what's the ending of Motion is going to be like because I have too many ideas, but I truly hope you'll be satisfied with it.

How many books are you going to write about Michael? @AinoSalmi

It's hard to say, but as long as I'll be inspired, I'll keep writing books about Michael. I wanted to write an entire book about Michael seen through his fans' eyes, it's a project I have. It will be very different from what I usually write because it won't be a story, it will be a book aimed at reestablishing the truth about Michael.

What is one thing you don't like about the MJ fandom? @bigmjfan1

Well, it shocks me everyday to see how many (so called) "fans" are actual racists in this fandom. How can you stan a black man and be racist? I come across so many hurtful and racist comments, even some about Michael himself. How can you even call yourself a fan when you say things like "he wanted to be white"? Truth is, they wanted him to be white. Fucking hate those people (pardon my french).

If you had the chance to talk to Michael right now, what would you say to him? @bigmjfan1

I don't want to be too deep about it, but I think I would thank him for starters. For everything he's done for the world but also for me. I'd thank him for being my rock in the storm, for inspiring me everyday of my life, for being such a great role model and father figure in my life. And of course, I'd tell him I love him more than he could ever imagine.

What other MJ fanfics on the platform would you recommend to your readers? @bigmjfan1

It's been ages since I last read a book on here – around three years, I'd say. I remember reading @fanofmj's work thoroughly back in the day, though! If you haven't yet, you should give Oath a try!

How did you become a Michael Jackson fan? @mjspytee

It happened back in 2004/2005. There was this weekly update on Michael's trial, and I never missed it once. Tom Sneddon became the first person I truly hated. I hated the way he treated Michael, how he threatened him to put him in jail if he didn't come to court while he was hospitalized. But still, Michael showed up, in his pajamas, but he showed up. I wanted to stand by him, and I did. Michael is certainly the strongest person I know, and my admiration for him only grew stronger since that day. I loved the man before I loved the artist.

If you had the opportunity to spend one day with him, what would you do? @mjspytee

I would love to spend a day in the studio with him to get an insight into his genius' mind. I also always dreamed of talking about history, science and spirituality with him. Michael was so clever that I know you would learn a lot just by talking to him.

I hope I managed to give you the answers you were expecting. Thank you for submitting your questions, for being such loyal readers, for leaving comments, voting, for sending love my way every chance you get... in these rough times, all of this means so much to me.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I love you guys.

Julie
