 Adelaide's POV. 

 Ang sama ng gising ko ugh! Kainis! Kulang ang tulog ko. 3 hours lang. Kasalanan to ni Caden! Napanguso nalang ako nang maalala ko yung sinabi ni dad sakin kagabi.

"Adelaide, starting tomorrow, you need to be a low profile person. Sasakay ka sa public transportation like jeep, bus. No taxi. You'll disguise yourself as a complete nerd. You're a scholar in your university starting tomorrow. Understand?" Natulala naman ako sa sinabi ni Dad. Hindi ako nakasagot at umalis na sya.

What did I do to experience this? Hays. Kinuha ko yung uniform ko. Napakalaki nun para sa akin! Sobrang luwag! At kupas kupas pa! Noo! Sa sobrang inis ko ay Hindi na ako kumain ng breakfast. Hindi na ako sasabay sa kanila. Hindi naman na ako sasabay sa service car eh. Naglakad na ako palabas ng bahay. Hanggang sa makahanap ako ng bus papunta sa university. Buti nalang medyo may alam ako sa public transportation. Ang init! Walang aircon! Plus the fact na ang luwag pa ng uniform ko! And I'm so ugly!Pumara ako ng malapit na ako sa gate. I won't allow them to see me going out from public transportation! No way! Ramdam ko ang tingin nilang lahat sakin. Ugh! This soooo! Aish! Pumasok na ako ng room at ayun. All eyes are on me.Tinignan ko si Caden na Nasa tabi ko. Gulat din sya sa akin.

"What the hell? Bakit ganyan ang suot mo?" He ask I just ignored him. 

Time passed by at patuloy ko pa ring iniiwasan si Caden. Even Kairo and Adam. Low profile person my ass!Snack break na namin kaya nagpunta ako ng cafeteria. Bumili lang ako ng sandwich tuna and pineapple juice. Mabilis na natapos ang break kaya bumalik na kami sa room. Habang nagdi discuss ang Prof namin ng may kumatok sa pinto. Pumasok yung isang babae. She's beautiful. A transferee.

"You must be the new student. Come in. Introduce yourself" our prof said. The girl smiled sweetly and introduce herself.

"Good morning, I'm Sophie Valdez, 18 years old" she said and roam around. May vacant seat pa sa kaliwa ko kaya doon sya umupo.

"Hi! I'm Sophie. You are?" She said while still smiling.

"I'm Adelaide" I smiled at her.

"Yey! Can we be friends? Please?" She said while giving me a cute expression. I sigh and nodded. She hug me. Lunch Break comes and here I am at the cafeteria with Sophie.

"Adelaide Jaylah Sanford. Your name sounds royalty. Cutie!" She said while giggling. Royalty? Pfft. Is she kidding me?

"Maybe Mom and Dad are fan of royalty stories" I said then laugh. She laugh too.

Time, days, weeks passed. Sophie and I are now super close. I'm thankful that Caden, Adam and Kairo didn't bother me for almost 2 months! Ahuh! 2 months na. Simula noong nag transfer kami dito ng mga kapatid ko. Since Sophie and I are close friend. We always go at our house. Lagi naming service ang car nya. Since pwede na syang magdrive. While me..? October pa ang birthday ko kaya matagal tagal pa. July na pala... Our university will be having a contest. A quiz bee to be exact. But in this case, whole subject are involved. Wews. Ang hirap. But still! I wanna try.I'll tell our Prof later that I'm interested about the contest.

"Hey Bessie! Let's go out window shopping tayo later after class. You are not yet busy pa naman diba? Since you are planning to join the contest like what you told me yesterday" she said and she pouted. Haha. She's so cute really.

"Of course! I'll go talk with prof first then wait me nalang a'right?" I said while chuckling. She nodded then hugged me tightly.Oh gosh. I thought Hindi ako makakatagal sa kanya. She's so clingy and yeah a brat sometimes. But still I love her naman. Haha. Nang magbell na ay mabilis kaming nagpunta ni Sophie sa faculty para kausapin ang prof namin about sa contest. I knock and open the door.

"Yes, Ms. Sanford?" Prof said.

"Ahm.. Prof. About the contest Po. I'm interested Po and I want to join the contest" I said and he smiled at me.

"Alright then? 1 month from now before the contest. You'll start your lessons with me next week. Don't worry about the lessons. You won't miss anything. The advantage of the contest is your knowledge will be advance than your block mates" prof explained. So I just nodded and lumabas na ako ng faculty. Pag labas ko sinalubong ako ni Caden. Gulat akong napatingin sa kanya.

"D*mn. I can't take it anymore. I miss you Adelaide. Tiniis ko yung 2 months. Hindi ko na kaya" he said and hug me tightly.

"W-What are you talking about? A-ano ba! Bitawan mo nga ako" I said. 

Humiwalay naman sya sa pagkakayakap sakin.He hold my both cheeks and he gently kiss me on the temple of my nose. Nang humiwalay na sya sa akin ay kinuha ko ang pagkakataon na yun para tumakbo. Narinig ko pang tinawag nya ang pangalan ko pero Hindi ko na sya pinansin.Nang makarating ako ng parking lot ay hinarangan naman ako ni Leigh. Ugh. Buhay pa pala sya. Kala ko patay na. Psh.

"Well.. Well.. Well.. How are you dear? Its been a while. I have a surprise for you. And my welcome gift for you" she smirk at me. 

Napangiwi nalang ako ng sampalin nya ako.May isinenyas sya sa may likuran ko at napasinghap ako ng may ibinuhos sa akin. Kadiri! Ugh! Nang makita ko kung ano yun.. Ehhh kadiri talaga! Putik na may kasamang egg. Arg!Narinig ko pa ang tawanan nila.

"O my gosh! Adelaide?!" Sophie said she look at Leigh and friends.

"Y-You! Argg! Let's go Adelaide" sabi niya at hinila ako palayo doon.

"My gosh! Look what have thee done to you?! Let's go. Iuuwi na kita sa inyo" Hindi ako umimik at pinaandar na nya ang sasakyan nya.

Nang makarating sa bahay ay uuwi na daw sya agad dahil may dinner daw silang buong pamilya. I said thanks and wave at her. She wave back at me and she drive her car.This.. Is hell. Arg! Akala ko Wala na yung Leigh na yun! Yun pala! Argh! Kaasar!Nagmamadali akong umakyat ng kwarto ko at nagbabad agad ako sa bath tub. Aish. Kadiri. Buti walang uod yun. Grr.Naalala Kong d ko natanggal yung contact lenses ko kaya tinanggal ko na at tinapon. Binabad ko lang yung sarili ko doon.Nakarinig naman ako ng katok kaya nagising ako. Nakatulog pala ako. Nagbanlaw na ako at nagbihis tsaka bumaba para kumain ng dinner.
