Parker's P.O.V

I cover my eyes as Kiara shifts into her true form.

I open my eyes and look up at how big she turned out to be. Her coat made of flames, her eyes ice. I could feel the dread and panic from my pack members as they stared at the face of death.

The Flame Wolf, Ifrit.

"Parker!" I hear dad talk to me through the pack mind link.

"Dad!" I reply. "Kiara turned into- "

"I know son; I can see her all the way from here." He says in a low voice.

"Dad I need you to back off and come back around here. Bring Dean and mom with you." I tell him.

"Parker, try to get the fire patrol to try and put out the fires around the woods. The more she burns the stronger she becomes. We need to wet the trees." He tells me.

"Okay, got it. Come back safe dad." I tell him feeling nervous.

Something told me he is deep trouble but he seems so calm and collected. He's probably okay.

I tell the fire patrol to come with everything they've got.

Kiara roars sending heat waves.

I run towards her. I stand before her and scream out her name. "Kiara!" I yell. She ignores me and keeps burning. "Kiara!" I call again still no response. "Ifrit!" I yell. That seems to get her attention. The wolf looks down at me. "Ifrit!" I call it again. I hear it growl at me. "Stop!" I yell at it. It raises a paw.

"Fuck." I try to run out of the way but it was too fast. When it struck the ground an explosion of heat ends up burning me.

The pain is intense.

The pain is intense.

(wakes up) (present)

My eyes snap open as I sit up and I frantically look around my room.

"It's a dream. It's a dream." I try to calm myself down. I wipe the sweat falling from my forehead. "It's just a dream. A vivid dream." I mutter.

I lay back on the bed and close my eyes. I am covered in sweat.

I get off the bed and walk to the bathroom to take a shower. But I stop as I look at the time on the wall.

It's 5 minutes past 3 in the morning. I barely slept. I walk in the bathroom to go take a shower.
