PANIC

Parker's P.O.V

After the ride I bought Alice cotton candy.

She and I stand eating cotton candy and watching Rosie and the gang going on ride after ride. "Rosie is so precious." Alice says and smiles at me. I nod agreeing with her. "Yeah she is." I shove more cotton candy in my mouth. I love how it feels and tastes in my mouth. So sweet.

"Um..." Alice drags on getting nervous beside me. I stop eating and watch her. "Is something wrong?" I ask her. Alice is human so she gives off different smells for different emotions. And right now she's nervous. "No, no." she says getting more nervous. She continues eating her cotton candy and she doesn't look at me.

"Alice." I lift her face softly to look at me. She gets even more nervous. "What's wrong?" I ask her. She looks into my eyes and I see worry in hers. "Is Rosie your child?" she blurts out. My eyes widen slightly, shocked. "I'm sorry. I know it's not my place and I doesn't matter if she is, I would still date you if she was but I was just asking because it's been on my mind and it's eating me up inside. I'm sorry." She rambles and gives off another smell. She's embarrassed and in panic.

"No Alice it's okay." I let go of her face and look up at the sky. I sigh and look back at Alice with a smile. "No. Rosie is not my child." I tell her. I instantly smell relief seeping off from her. "Oh." she says in a low voice. "I'm sorry. It's just that. She seems really fond of you and likewise I guess." She looks down at the cotton candy in her hands. "Yeah." I nod and look at the cotton candy and notice that it kind of leaves an after taste now.

"Rosie is not my child." I pause trying to think of a way to put this without being weird about it. "But I'm very fond of her. She's like....she's a very special person to me." I look at her. She has a blank look on her face. "Do you understand what I'm trying to say?" I ask her. She gives off a weird smell that I'm not used to smelling.

"Yeah." She smiles at me with adoration is her eyes. "I get you." She then leans on me. I smile at her. "So uh Alice." I poke her side. She jerks away from me. "What?" she giggles.

Ah, she's ticklish.

"You said you wouldn't mind dating me with or without a child." I remind her and her face immediately goes pink. "Did you mean it?" I ask her with a smirk on my face. She refuses to look me in the eyes. "Well uh.." she starts but pauses when her eyes land on something behind me. I turn around and see what she is looking at.

It was a man with a dark long coat wearing a huge hat that covered his face and had leather gloves.

He reaches into his pocket and takes out two AK47's from his coat. "Fuck!" I manage to say before he starts shooting up in the air. People start panicking and start screaming. I grab Alice and cover her from being shoved by people who were running to get away from the gunshots. She screams from the top of her lungs, hurting my ears. "Alice, calm down." I tell her to try and stop her from screaming. "Okay." she agrees after looking into my eyes. "I'll protect you come on." I pick her up in my arms and I start running away from the gunshots heading for the exit.

'Parker where are you?' Syris asks me panic clear in his voice. 'Where is Rosie?' he adds.

'I'm at the exit with Alice. Rosie is with- wait what? What do you mean where is Rosie? She is supposed to be with you!' I yell at him getting angry.

'Well I got separated with you guys while I was with Yara. I left her with Jordan.' Syris tries to defend himself.

'Damn it!' I yell and cut the mind link.

"Alice where is your car?" I ask her. It's right up front of yours." She screams so that she can be heard from all the commotion. I nod and start racing through the crowd to her car. I reach her car and wait for her to get inside. "Parker I can't leave my friends!" she says with tears in her eyes.

"I'll find them but first drive somewhere safe and I'll find you." I tell her. "Find me how?" she asks me confused. "Your a diamond in a sea of pearls. It will be easy finding my way to you." I say and that shocked her and myself. "Parker- "she starts but I kiss her on the lips to stop her from talking. Her hand reaches out to touch my face gently. I pull back and watch her slowly open her eyes. She looks at me shocked. "I'll find you. I swear." I tell her and back up. I close her door. "Now go somewhere safe." I mouth.

She nods and starts the car. She gives me one last look before driving away.

'Jordan where are you?' I ask him through the mind link but I hear no reply. 'Jordan?' I link him again but he's still not responding.

Then I hear Rosie screaming. "ROSIE!" I yell and run towards the sound of her voice.
