"Doctor?" I reach for him. He quickly wipes the blood dripping down his nose with the handkerchief that he took out from his pocket. "I'm okay." he says and reaches for his notebook to write something in it. He sniffles and writes something in it, blood still dripping down his nose and onto the book. "Doctor shouldn't you take care of that?" Syris asks him walking over to him to stop him from writing so he could do something about that nose bleed.

Doctor Martin then stops writing and rolls a part of the handkerchief into a little roll that can fit his nose and sticks it in. "Sorry, it's just that." He stands up with the notebook in hand. "Alpha, we have to talk outside." He says bringing the notebook closer to his body and he walks out the room. I look at Rosie and see she is in deep thought, her eyes back to normal with the red rings only on the outer part of her pupils.

I follow Doctor Martin out the room so we can talk.

"Parker!" he calls me from across the corridor, walking ridiculously fast. "We have to talk in my office." He says not slowing down.

I follow him to his office. Once we reach his office, he closes the door behind me and locks it.

"Doctor, what's this about?" I ask him. Why is he acting so weird? What happened? What did Rosie show him? What's going on?

"Rosie." He starts and goes around to his seat behind his desk. "What about Rosie?" I ask him, getting a bit on edge. What about my mate?

"I don't know how to put it but Rosie is something we can never think to comprehend. Her mind, the way it works, what she showed me." he takes out the handkerchief from his nose and rolls it up fully before disposing of it in the bin. He gently puts the notebook in one of his drawers. Is he supposed to keep it there?

"What did she show you?" I ask him taking a seat so as to prepare myself. "She showed me a war waiting to happen." He looks at me serious. "And in that war hundreds of thousands of people, humans and wolves, die." He leans on the table.

I swear I stopped breathing. "A war?"

"Yes a war. Wolves from different worlds all in one place will suddenly appear from nowhere and wreak havoc in this whole region." He says and the nose bleed starts again. He backs up and leans his head back so that the blood doesn't drip on anything.

"Wolves from different worlds? Do you mean from different parts of the world?" I ask him not wanting to belief what I'm hearing. He takes out something from one of the drawers in his desk and takes out a packet filled with cotton balls. He takes one out and sticks it up his nose. "No." he says and looks back down to me. "From different worlds." He blinks and closes his eyes. "She showed me a portal where you are able to cross it but if you are not careful you might end up crossing where you shouldn't cross and get lost in the fabric of time and existence." He then looks at me frightened.

"She wanted to show me more things but my brain couldn't handle any more so she stopped." He whispers. "Rosie is in grave danger. She is being hunted." He says breathing heavy. Then I feel a pressure on my chest and I realized I have been holding my breath. I breathe out and a chill crawls up my spin, sending shivers throughout my whole body.

"She is the only one who can stop this but she's in grave danger. When I was in her head, I felt a coldness reaching out to her. I was hearing things. Things I can't understand but can remember." he runs his hands through his hair. I don't say anything and think back to the woman who left her to me. Cara. She warned me Rosie was in danger and that I was the only one who could protect her. But how can I protect her? And protect her from what and who wants to hurt her?

"I probably sound crazy right now saying this but Alpha." He sighs and looks at me trying his best to stop panicking and be calm. "You need to prepare for a war. Call the disbanded pack members hiding in plain sight, create alliances with the other Packs around the area, the rogues. Call everyone willing to help and tell them to prepare for war." He says his eyes foggy.

The disbanded pack members, other packs, rogues, everyone willing to help.

But this sounds too far fetched. This sounds too ridiculous. A war? We haven't had a war in a hundred years. Why would it start now and with wolves from other worlds? What other world do we have besides this world we live in right now? This doesn't make any sense. I know Rosie is different, she's ridiculously strong and... but from another world? That's impossible. She's possibly an ancient wolf or of ancient wolf descent but from another world?

'I lived in the Vernand Isles.'

But. There's no such place called the Vernand Isles.

'I am able to find out where they are, what they are doing and who is saying what. Can't you?'

'It's like a stronger version of the mind link you guys have.'

'What is a pack? What are you talking about?'

'From where I come from we don't have pizza or burgers'

What Rosie said replays in my head. This is probably a coincidence. Rosie couldn't be from another world. We only have one world. And in this world we don't have freaken portals that allow you to travel through time or to other worlds. This is the real world and in the real world things like this don't exist. They can't exist.

'Wolves from different worlds all in one place'

Kiara.

I abruptly stand up and look at the doctor. He looks into my eyes and in his eyes I can tell that he actually believes what he's saying. "Thank you for the information doctor. So when can Rosie be discharged?" I ask him. He then blinks and stands up. "Alpha I'm not lying; I know you don't believe me but that's what she showed me!" he says clenching his fists.

I ignore him. "When can she be discharged? We have somewhere to be." I say trying my best to keep my cool. This is all nonsense and I will not sit here and be fed nonsense. The doctor sighs, realizing I'm not having any of this. "Just ask her to show you, maybe you'll be able to see further than I did." He mumbles making his way to the door. He unlocks it and opens it wide.

"Have a good day doctor." I say and walk out the door. He doesn't respond and I hear his door close and lock. I don't turn around and make my way back to my mate.
