Chapter Nine: The Meeting and Greeting of Amanda Creevy

The next morning James had been walking down to breakfeast with his hands stuffed in his pockets, thinking over what he had learned last night. Was it really possible that Scorpius's grandfather was a murderer?

"James!" A voice called.

James looked around and saw Emily with a girl in second year who had long, wind-blown hair with light blue eyes. "Hey Em... and, um..."

The girl stuck her hand out, "Amanda Creevy, second year, Ravenclaw."

James hesitantly took the girl's hand. "I'm James Potter."

"Cool," she said, not reacting like other people did whenever James told them who is dad was.

"Emily, do you know if we have any-?" but he was cut off by the sound of cheers. He looked around and saw some of the older Ravenclaws pointing at three people riding their brooms right into the Great Hall.

"We made it! We made the Quidditch team!" A girl with long black hair and slightly silver eyes said as several Ravenclaw students gathered around them.

"Who's that?" James asked Amanda and Emily in an undertone.

(A/N Brieen is pronounced Brie-n) "Brieen Turner is the girl with the Firebolt 7, or the one with the silver eyes. Scarlet GeMoore has the brown hair and a Killing Asteroid. And Fray Umonzeay has the brown hair and black eyes also with a Firebolt 7."

James wanted a Firebolt 7. He had the Firebolt 6, which was almost as fast. But that was the thing: almost.

There was the fact that a Killing Asteroid is a better broom-- it even has a built in wand holder. But James like the Firebolt 7 better.

Trinity came in and looked around. "What's going on?" she asked.

"Not much that's interesting. Well, to us, anyways," James said, looking pointedly at the Ravenclaws who were gathering around Brieen, Scartlet, and Fray.

"Oh," she said in the same quiet tone.

"Are you okay, Trinity?" Emily asked.

"Um, yeah," she said, "I am. Just worried about some stuff."

"Define stuff," Emily said.

Trinity just stared at her.

"Maybe she doesn't want to right now. Giver her time to sort out whatever it is she needs to sort out," said Amanda, looking from Emily to Trinity.

"James, could I talk to you for a second?" Trintiy asked suddenly as Emily and Amanda went to eat.

"Uh, sure," he said.

"What do you know about a ghost named Maylayia?"
