Chapter Twenty Two: The Letter

It took Domonique a long time ti decide if she was going to write that letter to Uncle Harry and Aunt Ginny. By the time she'd made up her mind, it was the end of May. She'd thought that she would need to write it before exams, because of O.W.L.'s.

"I can't believe we only have a week and a half until we begin out OWL's," Ryan said, scowling down at his History of Magic book.

"It's crazy!" Fel said, "I've already had to take five stress releaving potions!"

"Five?" Domonique asked, staring at her best friend.

Fel nodded, a proud look on her face.

Domonique ignored it, reaching towards her bad and grabbing parchment and a quill. "Ry, can I use some of your ink? I don't have any on me right now."

He shrugged, staring at his book in confusion as he tried to remember why the goblins had rebelled in 1809.

Domonique dipped the quill in the deep black ink and began to write:

Aunt Ginny and Uncle Harry,

A few months ago, I walked into the common room and it was destroyed and James was there, just staring at it. I asked him of he'd seen anybody in there when he'd come up, but said no. Thing is, he was lying. I don't know how I know, but he was. I think he knows who did it, but he refuses to tell anyone. I have a feeling that's going to lead to something big, something that I don't want to think about. Will you try and get it out of James?

~Domonique

She read the letter several times before standing up and heading towards the owlery. Her friends didn't question her, they were to busy studying.

Albus was watching the sky, bored out of his mind. It was about five o' clock and Lily was at a friend's house for the night.

He saw an owl fly over him, but it was coming closer and closer. It was heading for their house. He sat up and watched as it pecked the window, but there was no way that hos mom would be able to hear that from upstairs. Albus walked in side and headed towards the window. He'd learned not to poke an owl on the back when it was delivering a letter at a young age...

He clearly saw the words Aunt Ginny & Uncle Harry written in Domonique's thin hand writing. It was strange though, Domonique always used purple ink, not black ink.
